NiftyBoxx reacted to Levent in Is there a reason I should have lower latency ram for my pc?
If you havent experienced any issues then dont bother. I too have my 2133mhz CL14 rams overclocked to 3200mhz with 18-19-19 and it just works fine. I am certain there is some performance loss there but for 1-2% gains I dont feel like spending 100$ on new sticks. I got my rams for $30 and they overclock insane (to 3466 19-20-20). I wouldnt worry about it, if you are worried try messing with your overclock to either clock higher with same timings or try to get the timings lower.

try not to fight convection, optimal positive pressure would be both 140's intake at the front and single exhaust at the rear.

i use 2 front intake, top and back as exhaust on my h510i, best thermals i was able to get with this config.

you have to push the backplate into the screws.
also, it's very important that you do not screw one in all the way before moving on to another one. Only screw it in a little bit at a time.

NiftyBoxx reacted to mbntr in What gpu should I upgrade to?
1660 Super if you need a GPU now and you don't have much money.
The next gen will launch soon but only the higher end models, so if you can't wait OR you don't have much over 250, then go for the 1660 Super

if he doesn't, he should just move up to TXm/CX units, without bothering about CV

Being completely honest, I’m a little worried about the power supply. It’s a brand I’ve never heard about and it has no power efficiency rating. No matter what gpu you go with, nothing stops the psu from blowing up or frying your components. I would personally recommend returning the psu and getting another one from a recognizable brand with at least a 80+ bronze efficiency. Even if it means cutting back some of the budget for the gpu because it will be more beneficial in the long run.

I mean, you could probably put up to a 2070 super if you had the peripheral connectors for it. Your CPU is a non-k intel CPU so you don't need to worry about the cpu taking way too much power. I would keep it no higher than a 2060 Super personally though. This would put you around 240W giving you plenty of overhead.

Really not the best
But honestly way better than what you got right now.

Yeah, I actually did look into a 2060 super now that I remember but I brushed it off because I thought my PSU would be too weak for it. Plus I opted for the the 570 because the super was a bit too pricey for me rn. Maybe down the road I'll pick it up. But thank you very much for your feedback 😊
