  1. Yes I am 2 and 4 even when I swapped the slots it was still running at 2133mhz, worse of all it read "reserved hardware: 8gb".
  2. How do you do that? Do I just pull out the battery and hold the power button for a few seconds? By setting the frequency manually to 3200mhz you mean through the BIOS right? Like selecting the Profile 1 and enter 32.00 as the desired RAM speed.
  3. Hi! My PC experienced hangs and restarts on its own, I decided to pull out the rams and switched slots with the both of it and pulled out the CMOS battery. I placed everything back then stumbled as I booted back up my Task Manager read 16gb og ram and 8 gb of it was on "hardware reserved", I pulled out the ram sticks and cleaned them with an eraser -> read 16gb as I placed them back in. This time when I checked my RAM speed it was 2133mhz instead of 2933mhz, I enabled XMP and booted right back in. It didn't change a thing I was still running at 2133mhz. Please help. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 16.0GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz Gigabyte X570 UD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER
  4. There isn't any really, I just thought that the update would make things run a bit smoother with the recent updates rather than ones from 4 years ago. Considering it was a 2020 update and maybe it'd make the system perform a bit faster somehow (?) just a guess though, I'm still new to the PC scene (apologiesss).
  5. Hi guys! So, My mom got an old laptop from a family friend which I was planning to set up for my sister. She said it was already reformatted to wipe away unnecessary files, while I was trying to install drivers and the latest BIOS through the normal DEL button it didn't work. So, I settled with the ASUS winflash and it still ended up failing even though I already installed the ATK as told me to do so. Really need help. Thanks a lot
  6. Hi guys! So, this post has been here quite a while and I'm still on the hunt for the last part of my PC which is the GPU. I went with a 2600 (never OC'd tho) for the moment it was used from a friend, because PC parts have increased their prices and parts became really hard to find due to the demand for online classes here. So, with the workload I listed up top - still contemplated between a Palit 1650 super StormX OC GDDR6 4GB or a Gigabyte RX570 GDDR5 8GB. Would really appreciate the replies! Cheers.
  7. I do actually but, was really looking forward having the PCIE 4.0 update just in case.
  8. been looking at it on bottlenecking websites and it just scares out of me not getting the performance for what I'm gonna spend on. Thanks!
  9. Budget (including currency): $700 or PHP 35,000 Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Solidwork, Blender, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and CSGO Other details: I'm stuck between having a Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 1660 with it, or a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650. Trying to avoid bottlenecking and at the same time going for what I consider the "ultimate" choices for parts that I can afford at the moment. Hi guys! It's my first time posting and building a pc of my own, I just wanted to know what you guys think. Cheers!
