    well I was having mounting issues It was really difficult to get all the pins down, I might need to get a new cooler because its a bit faulty. Ill try remount it again and see results

    Do you might think it is the cpu because it onlys goes high temps when playing modern games, Its around 50 to 60 temp when idle and jumps up when playing games, goes back down again when game closes?

    @GamerBlake Cheap to mid range I would just like one that would get it going, im not planning to over clock it

    @GamerBlake Yeah ive tried with the side panel off so its not the airflow, what cooler would you recommend?

    So I recently put a gtx 1650 into my old pre built office computer and I tested it out with csgo and seemed to be find I was a bit worried because it got to 100 degrees C so i decided to replace the thermal paste, I did a pea size and tried to put back the stock intel cooler I tried again but the pc still rebooted, Ive tried multiple games black ops 3, rust, csgo all goes to 100 degrees c I think I might need to clean out the cooler and add more fans onto the case but I dont know. I have a intel i5 2400 cpu 420W Psu the stock intel coolers Is a bit dusty.

    @Elmo2091 psu is 420 watt prebuilt, cpu intel i5 2400 ram 8gb

    @quackwich The cooler doesnt mount back on ive tried for ages

    So I recently put a gtx 1650 into my old pre built office computer and I tested it out with csgo and seemed to be find I was a bit worried because it got to 80 degrees C (later googling 80 is noraml)so i decided to replace the thermal paste, I did a pea size and tried to put back the stock intel cooler but It was really difficult after 40 minutes of this I could only get 3 out of the 4 twist things in and when i went to boot up csgo It got up to 80 degrees and rebooted tried to reset it and do a bunch of other stuff but couldnt play csgo, its at 60 degrees when using the pc normally. I think I might need to clean out the cooler and add more fans onto the case but I dont know.w

    @TofuHaroto Ok so If I buy https://www.pccasegear.com/products/49494/galax-geforce-gtx-1650-ex-oc-4gb then it wont severely bottleneck or anything else with a cpu of intel i5-2400

    @TofuHaroto Doesnt seem to have it, would you recommend a 1650 or 570 with a new psu?
