Closed back headphones would be nice. I don’t listen to music at all so I would be okay with not great quality in those terms. I have a separate microphone so I won’t need that on the headset. I was looking to spend $100 but would be willing to higher if it’s “worth” it.

Hello All! I got to be honest and barley know anything about great audio. I am looking for a headset that will be mostly used for gaming but I don't want the combo microphone included in most gaming headsets. I like to dabble in some shooter games meaning I would like to be able to listen to foot steps. As I stated before I don't know anything when it comes to audio really so can you please specify if the headphones will need a dac/amp and if so what would you recommend with that as well. I don’t listen to music so I’m not worried about quality that pertains to that. All in all I am looking to spend $100 - $150 full set up. Thanks to anyone willing to help me out. Appreciate it, Volt
