  1. Okay so it doesn't matter if it's intel or AMD both are quite good in what i've plan to do. Save extra buck that i can use elsewhere. (In a dedicated GPU for example ! :p) I'll take a look however. The external drive for backup seems a pretty good alternate as the NAS who is also a good option. I'll expose this to her and see what she will choose. (Pretty sure she will like the external drive). Yes they were bamboozled earlier so i don't want to take risks. Okay i don't realise that 1080p will be crap on 32" monitor 1440p seems truelly better. New one in your build is pretty nice and decent. If you use it and like it i'll trust you. I don't know if FSP is a good trademark for cases. (I would like to change it but she choose him because he has x4 usb ports on him). However thanks guys for all your reply !
  2. Ok i'll take a look to this. I was not sure with 3200g/3400g. ^^
  3. Hello there ! As i already said in title my stepmom ask me to build her a computer. However i'm not really sure of wich parts i'll use in it ... She will use it essentially for home (Office, internet, multimedia sometimes) and plan to keep him for a very long time. Also she need a backup solution with all of this like an external drive or something like that. (Fast, reliable and secure if possible). We plan on a 850 Euros approximatively for this build that include screen, backup solution and mouse/keyboard combo. She also want a large screen of 32". I ask myself, if she wants to keep it a very long time do i need better parts or everything is ok ? Intel or AMD ? I know there are plenty good build on internet. They inspiring me but ... I'm not sure of what i've done. What i've prebuild: AMD version: https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/user/Narys/saved/GYctnQ (Replace FSP CMT230/520 with CMT260). Min x4 USB ports on case she said with glass and RGB light if possible !) Intel version: EDIT: https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/b9nn7X (Thanks to LpoolTech !) What do you think about it ? Let me know ! Thanks !
  4. D'accord, je te remercie. F50a is the latest BIOS for my motherboard. He will probably change soon. But it's ok she can handle a Ryzen 9 without problems, lack or less. I ll take an eye to acceptable memory. I think she can handle 3200 Mhz CAS 14. It seems to be very specific and restrictive. I would like to add RAM which can possibly follow in a new build.
  5. Bonjour ! ^^ All right i was not sure with B350 motherboards can handle next gen CPU due to the age of her. Yes i can see that ! If my motherboard can handle good performance with a newer CPU i will probably get a new one. Rx 5700 XT sound a bit stuck sometimes. My 5700 XT (recently obtained) seems to be a bit overpowered for the CPU. (Bottleneck ?) I've tried to OC this 1600x without successing a lot ... 3.6 GHz is a bit low today no ? Memory frequency ain't a bit low too ? (Yes i recommend them !) All right and obviously a better frequency than my actual CPU. Well i'll wait for new Ryzen 4000 series. Thanks all for your replies by the way !
