  1. wait i was looking at the wrong one. sry, it looks like a good option tho. i might want to change something, idk. but imma have to talk with him and his mom about it.
  2. He needs peripherals which your build doesn’t have. Imma talk with him about what we’re gonna do.
  3. u sure it would matter tho? hes just playing mc and roblox. plus its saving him 250+ dollars. i had these parts for a while and they were actually just fine for most games if you turned settings down a bit. exept it wouldn't work with the most demanding new games. this was about 1 or 2 years ago i had these parts. i think it will be more than enough for him. i also had a gtx 970 paired with it at the time.
  4. yes he does need peripherals, and it CANNOT go over 600 dollars, also i feel like some of you didn't read, i was asking if i would be able to give him some of my old parts. i have a phenom ii x6 1090t, an asus motherboard, and 8gb ddr2 ram that i can give him. hes really trying to save money so i think its a good idea
  5. He is 13 years old, so he doesn't know a lot about computers. he needs something that will run Minecraft, roblox, and other light games like that, but with a better pc he might get into playing more demanding stuff. his old build is some crappy Pentium system using integrated graphics, idk the rest of the specs. his budget is about 550-600 usd. he says that's the most his mom will probably spend. since his budget is really low and hes not gonna be playing too many demanding games, is it a good idea for me to give him some old parts I have? I have an amd phenom ii x6 1090t, an asus motherboard, idk which one, and 8gb of ddr2 ram that I can give him since i upgraded a while ago and have these parts sitting around. i have a pc part picker with the rest of the parts that are needed. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7Gnrb8
  6. so should I use less than what I use on my cpu?
