  1. I was also planning to build a heavy duty workstation desktop but unfortunately here my situation is not apt for that so in a difficult situation I had switch to laptop.
  2. But I will be running heavy CAD designs and more simulations and in a simple word it will be working 24x7 mostly running heavy works. Will it handle? I need my wok to be rendered faster. And if u would like to pick one for the above mentioned work from the list which one would it be?
  3. I am planning on buying a laptop for me. I work with various engineering software. · Solidworks · Fusion 360 · Autodesk maya · Premier pro · Photoshop · Illustrator · Lightroom · Blender · Altium · Eagle · Keiluvision Etc,. I also work more with deep learning and build neural networks for serious projects and use pytorch, tensorflow etc,. and I don’t game at all. I also work with embedded electronics where I code for microcontrollers and simulate designs. Considering all the above activities I planned to go with quadro rtx 5000. But it seems to very costly so I decided to drop to lower versions and selected few laptops which I could afford to buy. And I have made an excel sheet of the choices of laptops to buy. If anyone working in the similar area or an expert in such fields, please help me choose between these wide range of laptops. And if you need any further details or found struck with any tech specs that I have mentioned, please message me and ask and I will provide all the details I could possibly give. Thank you in advance for those who come forward to help me. laptop shortlist.xlsx
  4. I am planning on buying a laptop for productivity. And the estimated budget is $3000. But I have this dilemma of choosing which graphics card to pick. I have the option of going to Quadro as well as GeForce. But for productivity people go with Quadro because of its precision. And for my budget I get either an Rtx 2080 at max in GeForce side or rtx 3000 in Quadro side. But I can't figure out the performance difference between these two. So I can't stand with a particular laptop. Currently I have shortlisted around 10 laptops both with 2080 and 3000. So please help me understand the difference between Quadro and GeForce card mentioned above and help me pick one. P. S: I will be using my laptop for 3d modelling, machine learning and video editing.
  5. What is the difference between "classic" and other type if we consider choosing PE?
  6. Thank you so much for explaining so clearly.
  7. Which is best in performance? SE or PE?
  8. I find these two specification when I look for radiators. They are "SE" and "CE". I get confused when seeing this. What does this terminology actually mean? What role does this play in radiator selection? Any clarifications?
  9. Ok. If I were to select between i9 10th gen and 3950x which one would u prefer? Because the core count on i9 is 20 and supports OC upto 5.3GHz but the only adv of ryzen is its multithreading. So wants ur suggestion?
  10. I will be doing heavy CAD works and programming on Deep learning and stuffs. So i thought threadripper is good. What advantage does 3950x take over threadripper 3960x?
  11. I am planning on building a new PC that should be compatible for CAD, video rendering and AI and deep learning works. So I have choosen AMD THREADRIPPER 3960X CPU along with ASROCK TRX40 CREATOR Motherboard. Is my selection good or should I consider changing it? Any suggestions please..
