  1. I only paid 110$ and I don't think it is worth the hassle to take it all apart. I'll just buy a 8th gen cpu and return it after. Thanks for your help Btw 1050ti or 1650
  2. Ok thanks for your help I'm 75% sure that I can still return it. I think I'm just going to call my local pc repair shop and ask them if they can update my bios for me
  3. Yeah i didnt want to go cheap on the motherboard But I just want to know how to update the bios and get it to work w/ the cpu Do I have to just flash it or get a new cpu that works with the old bios version and update it then return it. Thx
  4. Just built a new pc w/ my dad and there is no display. This is a new build and it doesn't buzz like the error noises or anything. It has never booted before. (For anyone asking yes I have checked that the cable is plugged in, yes I have checked that the gpu is in properly and yes i have turned the pc on and off again.) Specs: i3 9100f gt 730 (tried this on a different pc and it worked) 1x Corsair 8 GB ram 3000mhz cmk8gx4m1d3000c16 (ik this isnt supported by the mobo but I didnt know that when I bought it) and (no i did not waste money because i knew that the i3 9100f only supports 2400mhz but it was the same price as a 3000mgzso I bought it) (spare ram that I tried - 2x crucial 8gb 2133mhz ct8g4dfd8213.16fa1) 850w psu (yes ik it is too much) 1tb hdd 240 sad b360-g mobo w/ no bios update corsair carbide spec delta rgb case (idk if this is helpful) I'm pretty sure that it is the cpu that is causing this because I need to update the bios for it to be compatible but I have refunded the 8gb corsair ram (see above) and bought a 2x 4gb corsair ram instead just in case. Thanks Second post on here btw
  5. the only reason i got this 1 was cuz it was either a corsair 500w psu or this 1 so
  6. im going to get a 1030 in like a month cuz i have a 730 just lying around but thanks
  7. I have bought a 850w psu for my pc that I am going to be building in a few weeks and I just wanted someone's opinion Is 850w overkill for this build: i3 9100f nVidia gt 730 ASUS ROG STRIX B360-G 4 120mm fans No rgb/watercooling Thx edit: i put i9 instead of i3 srry
