  1. hello. im have a project. i want to build a portable windows gaming console, for that i want to take a Lattepanda Alpha 864s wich has a m.2 M-key on the bottom. so i thought i can buy a adapter just from m.2 to mxm, becasue its basicly all PCIe, BUT i can't find any adapter wich could be able to do this. also i found out. mxm is not a standart standart, because every GPU has other ports or things, so its even more comlpicated. i wanted to add a GTX 970M to my lattepanda, becasue it should give me plenty of performance by only taking 75watts of power. so power everything with a USB-C PD power source. but as i sayd id it possible to do that. becasue i dont want to buy all these expenncive parts to see everything goes in smoke in the end. you know? do you have a idea, if and how i can make this work? maybe LTT can try it and make a video, it would be a fun topic, maybe. best regards Mutz03.
  2. but some completly random question, why do you upgrade to a so old generation of processor? i meand it is so much older than mine, and i would say it is not much more expencive (ok now it costs 400bucks, but i paid 60 for it)
  3. i see, so that means i should build a sheilding for my sound chip but how should i do this, like a little 3d printet cap for the soundchip and the glue a bit of alu foil on the top and ground it?
  4. that could be the problem, i unpluged the GPU, and also unpluged the sound card, now the problem is fixed on the onboard sound card
  5. so i have the asus M5A97 Pro and i installed a Trust SC-5250 5.1 surround sound card
  6. Hello, i used my internal sound chip, from my motherboard, but two or three days ago, i got weird noises, it sounds like you can hear the CPU working, and it also sounds like a car engine, but with a lot of noise. so I installed a sound card, witch a had flying around, and hoped it would be better, but as Installed the driver the noise came back. it is pretty loud and annoying. can anyone help me get this nises away? Mutz
