  1. Budget (including currency): $1000-$1500 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Microsoft 360 (school work), Solidworks (3D CAD), light gaming, lots of multitasking Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Basically my situation is this: My work setup is a Dell Precision 5530 laptop with a Thunderbolt 3 dock and two monitors. Since I have been WFH, I've fallen in love with this setup for home as well. My current laptop is on it's last legs (Lenovo Yoga S1) as I got it in 2015, and it's starting to show its age. My plan is to try to mirror my work setup at home so that when I need to bring work home with me, I can just plug into the same system that I will use on the regular. What thunderbolt 3 laptop is the best to currently invest in? Is it worth going with a lower tier laptop like the Lenovo T490 and planning to do manual upgrades myself to ram and memory? Should I stick $1k+ into a new laptop with i7 and 16GB of Ram out of the gate? With the planned dual monitor setup, I may end up investing in two brand new ones as my current home monitor is a HP 22cwa (also from 2015), so what monitors are best? With planning to have dual monitors, and needing the thunderbolt requirement? What's the best dock in that range? Thankyou all in advance for your help!!
