  1. when i started my game i noticed that i had some extreme high frame times and lag. i also noticed my fps sitting around 67, normally its 200+. i opened msi afterburner and everything looked normal, core temperatures were in the 60s celcius and core clock was boosted. then i checked HWmonitor and saw that i constantly hit the reliable voltage limit. i tried lowering power limit and boost clock but that got me nowhere. anyone has an idea how to fix this? restarting pc does nothing. i hop on a game and instantly i reach reliable voltage limit, it never used to do this
  2. like the title said, i cant find any problems with my memory using various software. i tried reseating the memory but still every time when booting my pc, i hear those 3 beeps. pc boots after a somewhat long dark screen. anyone now what to do now? i dont like it when my pc finds problems i cant find or fix :/
  3. hi maxx, seems like this thread is quite old so i understand if i dont get a reply im having the exact same problem as you with my rtx 2060 and same monitor. have you had this problem still recently or have you bought a new monitor that (hopefully) fully fixed this problem?
  4. i can select 1080P, however, the refresh rate is then still stuck at or below 60hz
  5. hi all, im having a lot of problems lately with my Resolution and Refresh rate on my windows 10 computer. it seems to keep changing my refresh rate and/or resolution after waking up from sleep or simply after i power up my screen after i shut it down. it started a few days ago i think. at least that was when i noticed that my screen refresh rate changed from 120 HZ to 100 HZ at 1080p. i couldnt change it, not even in Nvidia control panel. it just stayed at 1920 x 1080 100hz. i could make a custom resolution, but my screen went black and i had to force my computer to restart. then i searched online and found people with similar problems. no one had a sollution, only a few that said that sleep mode changed that. i tried only using hybernation, same problem. now i dont use the sleep/hybernate option when im away. but i still want my computer to keep it files open but not everyone looking at it. im using a Displayport to connect my RTX 2060 to my BenQ XL2420T. used to be absolutely fine. but now when i shut off my monitor and go away for a few minutes, the screen resolution changes to 1280 x 720 stuck at a maximum of 60 hz. i am not sure how or why that happens. when i select 1080P, it will still only stay at 60HZ. oh and also, my settings on my monitor are also being resetted (colour and brightness levels) when the resolution thing happens. i tried many things, older video driver (from 466.27 to 465,85) thrown of some software that change things about my graphics card like MSI afterburner, still same. i also checked for corrupt files, nothing! im really worried my gpu or monitor doesnt work properly anymore. i can only fix this by restarting my computer. could someone please help me to fix this problem. and if you had the same problem, does switching cables or monitor help? im using a fairly old monitor anyway so if thats the problem, i can fix it please help me, Juriaan
  6. i am new to manually overclock my gpu, but i gave it a try. i dont want to destroy my gpu because of temperatures, so i have tried 1860 mhz using Asus Tweak 2 OC scanner. temperatures seems fine, around 79 degrees with almost full power fan speed. i just noticed after your post that he is running at 1920mhz, so that does make a noticeable difference.
  7. i forgot to say that i overclocked my GPU for that, it is running a 1780 mhz speed instead of the standart 1755. the temperature is floating around 78-85 degrees celcius. i use the Gigabyte rtx 2060 Windforce OC. but the fans are running at 85% speed to keep it around 80 degrees, i could try overclock it more but than my card gets too loud.
  8. So I played some cod mw multiplayer, and I got around 117 fps average with medium-high settings. It is a improvement but still lees Then what i hoped it would be
  9. so after i did all the stuff u guys suggested, i did a benchmark using UserBenchmark, looks like my rtx 2060 is performing below 'potentional' it still shows that i get 84% of what other people are getting which great ofcourse. so imma try to play some games and look if the problem is solved.
  10. so i did what u said and now im running on a older driver: 432.00, should i keep that or install the newest 446.14 driver?
  11. you sure about that being safe? when i read the text it says that i can lose all my data and that doesnt sound very helpfull and if i won't lose my data, what do i have te reinstall after the DDU is complete?
  12. no v-sync is not enabled and i haven't capped the fps yes i have a Benq Monitor 1080p 120 hz the person i watched had the same core i5 9400f his video: i understand that this is not the most reliable source to use,but it looks like he uses almost the same components and has better performance. yeah i could try that, but 16 gb a t 2666 mhz doesnt seem like the big problem no, i also didnt have to change my nvidia driver, can you tell how i can check that?
  13. hi, last month i upgraded my gtx 970 to an rtx 2060 because i wanted better performance. I did get that, but not as much as expected. if I look at benchmarks, for example at a benchmark from CoD MW, I see that person gets much better performance than I do, with just about the same hardware. I then saw that the person was playing everything at max settings without ray tracing, and got around 90 fps on average. I'm only getting around 60fps and I don't know why. can anyone help me? my Specs; GPU: Gigabyte rtx 2060 CPU: Intel i5-9400f Motherboard: msi h310-a pro memory: corsair vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8) DDR4 2666 MHz Storage: Crucial MX500 SSD (500GB) os: Windows 10 pro 64 bit if someone is wondering; I closed as many processes as possible and I use a displayport 1.2 from my video card to my monitor. I have not been on nvidia's control panel either, everything is on default. im sorry if you dont undestand something bcs my english isnt very good and this is my first post here
