It didn’t work but you did help me as I found out the file path and ran the jar with the java command, thanks!

I was running it in wine. I was trying to run pokemon universal randomizer

I’m new to linux so i don’t know how to fnd the file path, but like I said the exe one gives me a java runtime environment error

Just did it, tried running the thing again, still not able to run. i forgot to mention that both the exe and jar ones dont work, the exe one is giving me the java error while the jar one just doesn’t work due to the same error but it doesnt even run

So I’ve been having issues such as being unable to run an app that requires java runtime environment and can’t seem to download it, help?

I had changed my mind and decided just to install windows, like I said in the edit. Ubuntu isn’t letting me do what the tutorials for ubuntu said to do. Do I just get another linux OS and try it?

I think I fixed it, I just deleted all my partitions and FINALLY got ubuntu to install. So now I’m kinda interested in dual booting linux and windows. Should I look up a guide, continue it here, or make a new post? Edit: I think I’m just gonna use it to install windows. For some reason most apps aren’t loading besides firefox, settings, and a few others, and the apps I try to install aren’t installing and aren’t loading.

I used Ubuntu but can’t find a “disk” thing. I just tried deleting the entire windows OS but it refused to let me. What do I do now?

How do I go into live cd try out mode?

On may 15th, I was trying to do something when my computer automatically updated itself... and then shut off after being at “100% done” for ages. I go to reload and it gets stuck at loading for over a day. I decide to factory reset it but whoops, guess it deleted the entire recovery menu or whatever it’s called. I go to install a different operating system, can’t because of the corrupted windows files. So what am I supposed to do now that I can’t factory reset?
