  1. I thought that too. But I dont have any errors in the event viewer. A bit confused by it if I'm honest
  2. My PC has suddenly started shutting down abruptly when I click shut down via the start menu. In the attached video (had to be cropped for the file size) my pc takes about 10 seconds from clicking shut down in the start menu, where the fans ramp up in RPM, the hard drive can be heard bleeping, then in suddenly shuts down, with a weird sort of whining noise at the end. Doesn't seem like too much of an issue, expect for the fact that my PC hasn't done this before. Usually I press shutdown, bit of a wait and it quietly shuts down without the high pitch whine at the end ornthe bleeping. Curious as to what could be causing this, if it is bad for my components, and how to resolve it.? Troubleshooting: Memory checked with Windows Memory tool. Disc health check with control panel scan. Windows updated to latest (64bt) Radeon drivers updated to latest Event viewer checked with no critical or errors after shutdown. 3. To be fair i was expecting it to also, but disappointed by it. Xbox does, but can get game pass on pc so pointless buying one of them.
  4. I will get either a long boot or shut down, followed by a bios reset and my memory will be back to 2133.
  5. I have yeah, recently done it via USB flash so just updated again. Been tinkering with the values in the bios and managed to get the system to boot and have the memory set to 2800Mhz, better than previous I guess. Not entirely sure what to make of the value changes in CPUZ however? NB/Dram now at 1397.2mhz CAS Lat now at 20.0
  6. @Applefreak @svmlegacy Thanks for the advice. Bit stumped as doesn't seemed to have worked :/. Checked that I don't have a manual OC on my CPU or GPU, dont appear to have any under volts either. I have also re-inserted the sticks and reset the bios back to factory also. When selecting XMP this time i didn't get a hard shut down, instead it was just a prolonged boot, but my values are still the same: 2133Mhz, NB 1064.5 Cas 15.0
  7. I only had the option of XMP 1. As for my CPU, I havent messed with the clock speeds. CPU is at its base of 3600mhz and boosts to 4200mhz in game. GPU has a slight OC with radeon softawre where I have locked the speeds to 1905mhz when gaming.
  8. PC SPECS: 5700xt Red Dragon Ryzen 3600 Corsair 16GB 2x8 DDR4 3200MHZ. Aorus 570x Motherboard. 650wt Gold PSU from XTR. I have just enabled XMP in my Bios and been met with a hard shut down, followed by a lengthy boot cycle. After the PC finally boots it states by Bios has been reset and my memory is back to default settings which is 2133. CPUz shows the following: NB frequency 1064.5Mhz DRAm Freq 1064.5Mhz CAS Latency 15.0 Clocks I have previously been able to run XMP but disabled it as part of a troubleshooting phase when i first built the PC a few months ago and didn't enable it again. I have been noticing some games suffering with texture pop in so decided to try XMP to resolve the issue, however my PC doesn't seen to be able to run it. Any advice would be great, cheers.
  9. Yeah that's correct. As just commented below, I have adjusted the frequency values slightly in Radeon software and capped my core clock frequency to 1900min- 1925-1950maz with a voltage of 1100. This seems to have fixed the issue of random under clocks, all be it I don't know why this was occurring in most games to begin with.
  10. I decided to play around with the tuning on the Radeon Software. It seems to be a lot smoother gameplay wise since I have locked my min-average-max Frequency to 1900-1925-1950 and voltage to 1100. I am still seeing some frame dips, but as you say AC is not well optimised. Adjusting the frequency seems to have somewhat solved the issue, all be it im using more power than needed. Just couldn't bare it dropping down to like 600mhz in game and seeing a performance hit.
  11. ive added single core monitoring to MSI AB. Highest usage on single core was 80%. No other tasks running apart from game launcher.
  12. Hiya. I dont have a custom fan curve no.It would give me black screens when using it.
