  1. He is running Windows 10 Home 19045.3324. He said he changed something in the Windows App folder. The direct path to what he changed was File Program Files>WindowsApps>Properties>Security>Advanced>Permissions. He says that he made himself “owner” so he could try to fix something on Roblox, however when he went to revert the setting he changed he thinks he missed a step and it messed up the permissions for him.
  2. My brother is having an issue where his computer works fine, except he cannot open Windows related apps. He is running Windows 10. He wants to open Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Bar, however, when you click on them and try to run as an administrator, they will not open. Nothing will happen at all. Other apps work fine such as Chrome, Valorant, or any other app not associated with Microsoft. My brother did tell me that he messed with some of the settings of the Windows folder awhile ago and may have changed some of the permissions. He told me he tried to make himself “owner” or something along those lines in the permissions. Sorry if this post is kind of vague , let me know if you need more details…
  3. Yep, probably something I’ll look into, quick fix for now I’ll just use a fan port on my mother board. Thanks for the help though!
  4. I checked the port and none of the pins seem to be damaged or bent. Didn’t know the Commander pro doesn’t get along with splitters. I’ve had this setup for about a year now and haven’t had any issues with the fans until now. Maybe it finally gave out
  5. So I noticed today that two of my fans weren’t spinning but lighting up. I have ten fans so I use fan splitters to plug into my Corsair Commander. After doing some troubleshooting and making sure everything was plugged in correctly, I switched two splitters positions on the Commander to see if it was the Commander causing the issue. Sure enough, whenever I plug a splitter that is supposed to power two fans on my setup to spot 3 on the commander, they light up with RGB but do not spin. Any way to resolve this? I’m not the most proficient with the iCue software, I was reading something similar to this issue and they said they did something in their BIOS to fix this. Now that I know the fans or the splitters aren’t the issue, just need to know if I can fix this or if I need to buy a new Commander because maybe that slot died or something. Any help insight appreciated!
  6. Hey, this worked for me! You have no idea how long I’ve been looking for a solution on this. Thanks so much!!!!!!
  7. I’m going to try this. I think this is an Epic Games issue because Battlefront 2 (which uses Epic as well) takes so long to load just like RL. I’ll update you on if jt works. Thanks for the response!
  8. So recently I have been having this problem with Rocket League. I didn’t have this problem until they switched over from Steam to Epic. Whenever I open the game, it says “64 Bit, DX11 Cooked” when I hover over it on my taskbar. The game does eventually load up and it works, I can still play matches but the load times to get into a match can take a minute or longer. but it takes about 3 minutes to boot up the game initially. I am running this on a 970 EVO M2 SSD by the way. I know this issue has something to do with direct x, but I don’t know much about DX. When I checked my system, it says I am running DX12. My processor and GPU are Ryzen 3900x and RTX 3070, and I am running on Windows 10. I tried to reinstall the game, verify the files, change the compatibility settings to “windows 8” (that was the newest option available) in game properties, I’m just so frustrated because this was NEVER an issue beforehand. Only recently. Thanks for reading and let me know if you need additional details. EDIT: I only have this problem with Rocket League. All my other games perform as they should

  10. So I shut down my PC a couple minutes ago and now I am trying to reboot it but nothing will display on my monitor. My PC is turning on, goes through the normal process, keyboard lights up, ram lights up. I tried pressing delete to see if I could get into the BIOS but that didn’t work. I tried unplugging the display cord into another display port on my gpu but that didn’t work. I unplugged it from my monitor but that did not work either. I have tried several cold boots with no success. My specs are ryzen 3900x 32gb ram 3070 fe with a acer xfa240 as my monitor. Any response would be greatly appreciated
  11. Thanks for the suggestions, good information here
  12. Could you send the link to this please?? Thanks for the suggestion
  13. Hey guys, my younger brother is asking for a graphics card to complete his build for Christmas. His specs so far are an i3 and 16 GB DDR4 RAM. His Power supply is 600 watts. What is the best deal in his price range ($250 max) to gain maximum performance? I was eyeing the MSI RX 580 because that was my first graphics card that really packed a punch, any other suggestions? Appreciate the help!
  14. Hey guys, I have had a PC that I built myself for a little over a year now, today I decided to upgrade from a fan cooler for my 3900x to an AIO. I went with the NZXT Kraken X53. So I just went for my first test run, CPU was working fine but temps were in the 90-95 Celsius range, so the pump was not installed correctly. My motherboard does not have an AIO_PUMP port, so I was told via the manual to connect the 4 pin to the CPU fan instead. Double checked it was in and tight. Next, I went over to the USB, it was also snug in the port. What could have gone wrong here? This isn’t an issue with poor thermal paste because the RGB signal was not on the X53 when I booted up. So this has to be something with the pump. I’ll provide any additional details/photos if you need them to get a better understanding, thanks for the help guys and I look forward to your responses. CPU: Ryzen 3900x Motherboard: B450M Mortar Max
  15. Thanks for the info. That helped a lot. It would be a really tight fit, but I love this case and don’t want to switch unless it was some extreme circumstance. We’ll have to see how it goes when the AIO gets here tomorrow. I think I’m going to stick with my original plan and mount it to the front of the case, so I can take advantage of both fans. Appreciate the help!
