  1. I already had this conversation with someone else on a different post so instead of reiterating myself I will just direct you to my answer for this (click the arrow thingy to see the other responses it is showing the last comment for some reason)
  2. Forgot to say, I went with the be quiet psu, most of corsairs stock is unavailable, it's arriving today

I was going to get a Corsair CX 550W Bronze 80+ PSU from Amazon but Corsair has cut their productivity down and thus barely anyone actually has these items in stock (luckily I managed to pick up some of their RAM) The PSU needs to be at least 550w and at least Bronze 80+ Certified. This doesn't have to be modular, I am not fussed. Specs of the PC it is going in: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (Stock cooling), ASUS PRIME B550M-A, 2 x 8 Corsair Vengance CL16 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM, Nvidia Windforce OC GTX 670 (this will be upgraded to a 1660), 250Gb Samsung EVO Sata SSD and a 1TB NewBlue HDD. Pricing needs to be £75 or below, most preferrably from Amazon since I have Amazon prime which I want to make use of.

I appreciate it and I am not playing down what you are saying, I know the benefits of having a good VRM and I probably should of done a bit more research into that before buying it, but I have it it has everything mounted to it besides the PSU right now and it really just isn't worth changing it out.
  5. That's where the anxiety comes in, my PSU has not been delivered yet because it is running late so I cannot actually test the components I just have to sit and pray that I didn't break anything. I don't want to have to go through the pain and effort of dismantling the PC, repacking the MB as it came, sending it back to Amazon and then waiting up to 2 weeks for a refund to then wait another god knows how long to deliver another MB to then repeat everything over again. The man in the video does say that if you are just looking to play games on it then it will be fine, that is what I plan on doing so it should be fine. The effort that would be required to alter this at the end of the day will not be worth any minuit performance increases especially given what it will be used for. I waited 5 years to get something that will actually run games I play because I have been sat on a dual core intel pentium G640, DDR3 12 gig ram and intergrated graphics so so so long that I honestly just want something that works and I am not fussed by minor details that will probably never catch up to me since I am soon going to be in a full time job.
  6. The board is over-spec for what I am running in it so I believe this to be a non-issue and something for future me to whine about when upgrading.
  7. I always thought building a PC was like a jigsaw puzzle, which is true it really is. All I have left to do is get in my PSU and hook the power connectors up to the relevant ports then "theoretically" it should work. I ran into a few potential issues that are really making me anxious since this build is not something I can replace in the event that something is broken. I accidentally brushed my finger over one of the pins on the AAFP (The audio output) and I am afraid that this might of damaged the motherboard. Also a bunch of small stupid things happened like dropping a screw on the motherboard or having a rough time getting the power/reset switches in. Would any of this be cause to be concerned?   10. Well I know that it isn't great but the power usage of the system I am making probably won't even get close to 500w and I don't have intentions of upgrading.

I plan on being able to run these programs/games on high settings (so being able to prerender heavy VFX footage in full resolution, although I am not bothered about prerendering in a low resolution, my main focus is on render time and capability of rendering the heavy VFX (E.G Trapcode Suite)) I would have all of the conventional background applications running like Spotify, Discord, Steam etc.
