  1. The size of the Magnus is what helps make it stand out. Good luck everyone!

  6. HI all, Just wondering if anodyne knows of free and relatively easy software to use to blur faces / license plates Thanks!
  7. I like Z2 because the megapixel count and image quality is awesome! And Dbrand because of their skin design that look like very good quality.

  9. "AMD rumored to have 1GHz core clock on the next-gen Radeon R9 390X AMD's new Radeon R9 390X is being designed by Synapse Design, a company that recently announced new GPU tapeouts - including two 28HPM silicons. The first is the massive 500sq.mm+, which will be as powerful as 20nm SoC technology, which should end up being the new R9 390X. The R9 390X should have a core clock of over 1GHz, but will unfortunately not feature High Bandwidth Memory, or HBM." Heres the link to the article: http://www.tweaktown.com/news/39088/amd-rumored-to-have-1ghz-core-clock-on-the-next-gen-radeon-r9-390x/index.html
  10. A civil war has commenced. Sir Luke the Duke of the Slick Faction has taken up arms against King Linus of the Sebastian Faction to seize complete control of the Kingdom of Linus Tech Tips. T'is the dawn of war and mere peasants must decide on whom to our allegiance shall be pledged to. I say unto thee, whom sha'll ye fight for? *Obvious hypothetical stuff, but why not have fun and see who people side with *
  11. So theres been some controversy with the new M8 with regards to its camera quality but praises with build quality and general software design. To the general masses, camera quality is one of the top factors in choosing a phone. I was on the fence about the M8 and finally decided to get it as I had been satisfied with their phones in the past. (4g LTE, Original Evo). So heres my score and overall verdict of the phone. Build Quality / design: 10/10 - Absolutely gorgeous design and superb quality used. Feel: 9.5/10- Its a very well build phone, feels very nice in the hand but the only small complaint is that the back side is somewhat slippery, if you put it a pockets that does not have a lot of friction (ie: basketball shorts) and you sit down, it will easily slip right out of the pocket. User Interface / Software: 10/10: I've always been a fan of HTCs UI, its simplistic, fast, very easy to use and offers great customization without feeling to bogged down or slow. Camera / camera features & customization: 7/10- Ah yes, the camera, there's no way of getting around this part of the review. If you plan to just keep the photos on your phone, Instagram, Facebook etc. then the camera is decent as the lack of picture quality wont be seen and appear to be fairly good. The second you start to zoom in on a picture though, things change dramatically and the lack of megapixels becomes very apparent. Moreover, the tools offered with the camera are a mixed bag; Ufocus is marginal at best, the seasons & stickers tool looks cheesy but the dimension plus and touch up tool are very nice. Battery Life 10/10- Coming from a HTC 4G LTE whose battery life would last 8 hours (with power saving and doing nothing), the battery life has been amazing, I've gotten about 12 hours of heavy use (clash of clans addict + music + random web surfing ) with full brightness and no power saver options. I've been super busy lately but will try to get photos up of the phone as well as some pictures i've taken with it!
