  1. Thanks for the reply! What do you think about the fact that the M28U isn't a "true" HDMI 2.1 monitor? You think that it will be a problem and I should get a "true" HDMI 2.1 or no problem at all? Having the kind of monitor you mentioned for hybrid playing is a must, I'll be switching between the Switch, PS5 and PC all the time.
  2. And what about 32"? Will it make 4k a better option? And will 1440p look good if I upscale on my PC? Now I'm more inclined to get a new 1440p monitor since I know that there are some that can downscale 4k@60hz to 1440p@60hz properly without the PS5 going 1080p@120hz. Just need to find if the Switch can be played properly upscaled on 1440p.
  3. Thanks for the reply. Having 2 monitors is not really an option, I don't need or want 2 monitors on my desk, I don't have a lot of space. And the main reason is I want to sell mine to help buy the new one. Those 2 1440p monitors are a good alternative if I can downscale the PS5 properly, upscale the Switch and get my smooth G-sync for my PC. I only fear that I will be missing something if I don't choose a 4k 32" Hdmi 2.1 monitor. Maybe at this size, 4k doesn't matter, I don't know.
  4. Hi everyone. I need your help about a monitor that fits my needs. So, to give you all some context, my GPU is a 1080 Ti (and will be for while until this GPU madness goes away) and my monitor is an Asus ROG PG278Q (1st g-sync monitor if I remember). Last week I decided to try my luck getting a PS5 and well, I got it. I game primarily on my PC and I have in the same room a cheap 1080p 24" monitor that I use to play docked Switch. Since I got the PS5 and this Asus monitor only has one DisplayPort, I can't use my desk and monitor to keep my Switch and new PS5 together, right beside my PC. I also intend to stop using my cheap 24" (it sucks) and start using the same monitor for all my 3 gaming buddies. I was thinking of selling this Asus monitor and get another one but I'm at a crossroads. On one side, I wanted to get a 4k with HDMI 2.1 to take full advantage of my PS5 but as you know, my faithful 1080 Ti won't be capable of handling 4k and decent FPS. The 4k monitor I was thinking is the Gigabyte M32U or M28U (opinions on size help too). I don't know if I can upscale 1440p to 4K properly (I know this was always a problem but maybe things are better now) and get more fluid gameplay from my PC and monitor. All that refresh rate won't matter if I get 20 or 30 FPS on 4K. On the other side, I'm thinking of getting a 1440p 144hz monitor (or 165hz, doesn't really matter) with a in-built downscaler to properly play PC, PS5 and Switch. I've searched the web and found some monitors that have this ability. Don't know about the Switch though. The problem is that I don't know which one is the best option to take advantage of each console and PC without lots of downsides and I don't really mind buying a 4k monitor if it will work properly with everything because I will most likely keep it for quite a lot of years and for my next PC build somewhere in the future. Every opinion helps. Thanks in advance for all the help!
  5. This gives me hope like the Oneplus 3. Smartphones are getting way to expensive and ZTE is proving that we can buy flagship devices at reasonable prices. Let's see of the other smartphone companies start to learn and not be too greedy. Hope this phone kicks ass as it looks like it will.
  6. I'm using a Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse, a cheap Logitech membrane keyboard (I miss my mechanical keyboard so much) and a Logitech G930 Headset. Only now I realised how many Logitech peripherals I have. lol
  7. I'm using a Gtx 970 and since I always switch from AMD to Nvidia and vice-versa, winning one Polaris GPU means I have the possibility to upgrade my rig since the 480 outperforms the 970. Before the Gtx 970, I rocked a EAH 5770 for years. Awesome card. And after I upgraded to a new pc, I sold the old one and that ATI is still rocking, literally. I sold it to a metalhead that uses my old pc to edit videos and songs of his band. .\../
  8. Smart switch seems very easy and quick to do so it caught my attention. Thanks for the giveaway, good luck to all.
  9. Vessel Nickname: Battery (same as here) The two favourite videos: Hard Line Water Cooled PC Build Log https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0 Thrustmaster Warthog A10C : https://www.vessel.com/videos/Yj4PbcgKj Awesome Giveaway, you deserve all the luck in the world. Keep going!
  10. Winning this awesome CPU would be the perfect chance to start building a new PC. My current one is quite old and saving on a CPU like this would be perfect. I would use it for simulations programs, video editing and of course, gaming! So, thanks for another chance to win something for a future build. (very close in the future if I win this)
  11. Yet another opportunity to win stuff. Thanks! I was about to say that my favorite from the bundle was that case but that PSU looks awesome. So I'll say it is my favorite. A quiet and good looking PSU. The perfect help for me to start building a new pc. Mine is quite old now. The years fly away so quickly...
  12. Winning this gpu would be the perfect start for a new build. My Asus 5770 is getting old, playing Shadow of Mordor with lowest settings kills half the fun for me...
  13. I found this channel while searching for information on PC components. This channel is the one I like the most and everytime I need an opinion, here I go to LTT. So, to congratulate you all, have this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06mGnIi29U0 I think it is the only one that is good enough for this achievement!
  14. It's very elegant with that sexy red line and brushed aluminum. And it's not bulky and very "square", if you know what I mean. A very good portable gaming pc with good looks attached.
