  1. Thanks! But there is the other problem: it is slow. After I press DownArrow it takes time to load the screen... Here is a video of it: (I'm actually moving the selection.)
  2. Thanks! I'd like to change the timer setting too (from 5 to 2 or so). And make Windows the default. But I think I will find out myself. I will try it tomorrow, it's 10:30pm in Hungary.
  3. It is working, I can boot anything from menu but it is annoying that I cant see which option is selected. And the backgorund is messed up too.
  4. Hello there, I have the following issue: When I installed Kali, this was waiting for me. (not talking about the screen, that is a hardware issue ) Also, it is responding slowly and no selection is visible (they are different pictures of different selections.) Please help me, Bests, Matt
  5. I would use it for video editing, photo editing, Blender and programming. Maybe some light gaming. I don't need gaming laptops because they are expensive, heavy, thick and I don't like the design. Another option would be the Huawei Matebook or Honor Magicbook but I really need a home and end keys.
  6. Hello there, what are your thoughts about the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-42-R77K)? If I look at Notebookcheck it is very good (here), although the RAM is soldered and the screen is not the best, but I think I wouldn't find better screen at this price. In Hungary it is now $750 (660 Euro), and it comes with 3 years of original guarantee. What do you think? Should I buy it? How long will it last? Best wishes, Matt
  7. Thanks! Any suggestions without touchscreen?
  8. Hello there, I would like to buy a new laptop with touchscreen that is bright enough for outside conditions, supports a stylus and it doesn't cost more than $600-$650. Must haves: - at least i5-8265u or AMD Ryzen 4th gen - touchscreen with stylus support and readable outside - good touchpad and keyboard - at least 2 USB-A (and at least 1 3.x) - at least 1 USB-C (PD would be great but at this price I don't know) - minimum sRGB: 58-60% - good build quality (e.g. metal case, etc.) - slim (under 20mm) - light (under 2kg) Thank you, Matt
  9. Thanks. I will keep on searching and maybe extend the budget... I saw some perfect models but for higher price. But having a laptop that costs twice as much as my PC would be a bit weird... By the way I don't really like ThinkPad's design, but I'll see. Sales are fine, but I don't like second hand. The smell of new and the feeling of peeling off the foils are simply fascinating.
  10. And what is your opinion about ASUS, Acer and Lenovo?
  11. HPs are too thick for me (2.5cm is a lot). But if there is any with good build quality or metal build, I'll have a look at it.

  13. It is a Hungarian site, but you can translate it with Google. I send you a link with some specified arguments (eg. price and display size) 1 minute.
  14. Yeah... What do you think about 59% sRGB? (IPS panel) https://www.notebookcheck.net/ASUS-VivoBook-14-X412FJ-Laptop-Review-A-compact-14-inch-machine-with-performance-issues.431776.0.html#toc-display
  15. But in the official product page it says 72% NTSC which is around 72% Adobe RGB... https://www.mysoft.hu/docs/LENOVO/Lenovo_IdeaPad_S540_15_IWL.pdf
