  1. Ubuntu Cinnamon Remix is prolly what you want. Cinnamon is a fairly light, powerful, Windows-like desktop environment, and the Ubuntu Cinnamon Remix is based on Ubuntu (giving the name). Also, unlike Mint (who also use (and even maintain) the Cinnamon desktop), it doesn't take away half your ability to work by default. Gotta recommend it. You can find it at https://ubuntucinnamon.org
  2. No, I install a DE (on arch), a browser, discord, and that is usually all I get to do before one or the other crashes
  3. Neither arch or manjaro are stable, they break quickly. at least from my experience.
  4. Most stable? I can barely get past a week without something breaking. I have to try to break Pop!_OS and Ubuntu.
  5. Pop!_OS is as different to Ubuntu than Ubuntu is to Debian. I have had 0 issues with Nvidia drivers, no issues with obscure hardware (except my graphics driver crashed for some reason, but then again it wasn't available anywhere else until a recent kernel update), and even had a better time finding obscure apps. While Pop!_OS is Debian's grandchild, it isn't a big issue for anything obscure. Also with the nightmare flower that is AppImage, Deb, Snap, Flatpak mix hell, Pop!_OS does a good job avoiding that. They even avoid Snap and Flatpak by building many packages themselves. And Manjaro is a stability nightmare, and can get unusable for those without too much knowledge. Manjaro is good in many ways, but they screw up in many ways as well.
  6. Pop!_OS would be the best. It would be best to support your graphics driver on Linux, and anything Ubuntu based (which is debian based) also has access to a tool made by Canonical (who also makes Ubuntu) to install Nvidia drivers. Anything Ubuntu based would work, Pop!_OS would work best.
  7. The reason was correct, the method was not. The error is gone but still doesn't build. Seems to be a umount error, in which I will just enlist the help of the people who know how the script work for that. Anyways, the error was fixed. Thank you.
  8. I re-exported the key three times before, but thank you for the suggestion. We will see what is going on. The key works in Launchpad, and on Ubuntu with the launchpad key (I am not sure how to extract the key from launchpad, but that is an untried option), but I am not sure what else to do.
  9. This did not work, it was rejected as well with the same error. I will talk to the other remixes/flavors to see what I can do.
  10. Same error: W: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal/InRelease: The key(s) in the keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/ubuntuluminaremix.key.gpg are ignored as the file has an unsupported filetype. Built in Debian 10 (Buster) using Docker
  11. Is it possible the LTT discord has a 2fa requirement? I am not on there but it is an option for server owners to require 2fa. Not sure if it will kick you, but it might.
  12. ./terraform.sh and ./build.sh give the same error, I don't have the exact error but it is pretty much "W: cannot verify <link to the ppa that I store the packages>, invalid key" and "W: cannot verify key, ubuntuluminaremix.key.gpg is the wrong file type" - even though there is no .key.gpg, just a .key (no, changing to a GPG file does NOT help)
  13. The chance someone here has the answer is severely unlikely, but I might as well try. If you can understand config files and bash, this might be easier of a fix. I am the developer of Ubuntu Lumina, and I build ISO images in a Debian docker. I recently had issue building the images. It keeps giving me a key error where the key file is being found with the wrong file extension. The key is a OpenPGP key made with GnuPG, but was exported to a .key file. However, it is finding and reporting on a .key.gpg file (or just .gpg). If there was something I missed and can fix easily would make life a lot easier, and the groups I have been asking for help in are busy on their respective projects. The ISO builder is below, but I need a 2nd/3rd/*th set of eyes to run over it to see any errors I am missing, because the images I am trying to build do not work. I am confused, and any information on how I am an idiot will help! https://github.com/Ubuntu-Lumina/iso-builder-amd64
