People who don't eat meat because of how animals are treated better not be buying electronics from companies who have them made in China, because they're not treated properly either.

I do too, but it's very hypocritical, or just represents lack of information. I mean, maybe the person would cease buying the electronics if they really held to the principle. But I also think it's possible for the person to continue the behavior, and potentially believe that animals deserve to be treated better than humans, and still buy electronics as normal, but not eat meat.
If you don't like eating meat because of taste for example, fine. I won't argue with that because taste is a preference.
