  1. I've had a look on ebay now and found a argb controller from a chinese company so I'm gonna test it out and if it sucks probably just return in.
  2. Do you know of any such controllers that aren't stupid expensive like corsair?
  3. I have argb strips connected to the header and all it allows is a handful of presets most of which are rubbish. I've seen it's possible to use iCUE but that involves spending another £50 on corsairs stupid rgb hub. Is there any other way to have better control over my aRGB strips using other programs? Starting to get sick of static colours and the 1 rainbow effect Asrock allows. I'm running these off my Asrock b450 steel legend motherboard and as far as i know other motherboard software wont work. Have also tried razer chroma software which lets you connect to the asrock software but that didn't allow much customization either and was very buggy. RTX 3070 3600x Asrock b450 steel legend 16gb patriot viper
  4. All good I fixed the problem and found it does work
  5. I have a gpu with dual bios but one of the bios has been bricked and is not showing anything on boot. The other switch works fine so I'm wondering how do I restore the other bios from the working switch? When I am about to flash will flicking the switch to the bricked bios in windows cause the program to flash the selected switch (Bricked bios) or the one I booted into windows with (The only working vbios) Thanks
  6. I can't see an options under csm related to the gpu. Also when ultra fast boot is enabled it removes the CSM tab completely so i asssume it sets everything to the fastest possible boot option autmatically. Still huge loading times regardless of what settings are on or off.
  7. I recently upgraded from a 970 to a 5600 xt red dragon and after doing so I am facing boot times of almost 2 minutes compared to the 10 - 15 seconds I had before. I have removed all the old nvidia drivers, installed the new amd drivers, the card is flashed to the latest bios and so it my motherboard. Before i installed the gpu I could boot up in 15 seconds but now it takes ages and stays on the post screen for ages before finally loading into windows. I have tried with both ultra fast boot and launch CSM on and off but still there is not difference. Anyone know what's going on? 8. Ye it's total ass and makes me sound like a robot
  9. Are there any free programs like RTX voice that work for AMD because I've just switched GPU today and am unable to use RTX voice anymore. This makes my mic almost unusable on discord because of how incredibly sensitive it is. It picks up everything in the house and even people in the other room. Any suggestions are welcome.
  10. Waterblock are £80 - £90 here. Pretty cheap. I guess if there is no need I'll just leave it aircooled
  11. I've seen some for sale but they are either in Germany or out of stock?
  12. Does anyone know where I can find a water block for the 5600 XT Red Dragon in stock in the UK?
  13. This was happening even before I had any sort of OC so I don't think it's to do with that. 3000mhz is still better than 2133 so I think It's probably not worth the hassel of tweaking anymore. Thank you for your help anyway good sir
  14. Voltage is at 1.35 and I've put the cores to 4.3ghz
  15. Okay so It seems I can manage up to 3000mhz without and issues which is good. Anything after that and the boot loops occur. Also I can't seem to find any settings related to ratios.
  16. I just tested and at 2400 I didn't get any boot loops. All is nomral so I'll push until it stop working. Can I ask what you mean by 100:100?
  17. I belive this is the right list [Memory QVL (Matisse)] I'm using Patriot Viper DDR4 x2 8GB sticks https://viper.patriotmemory.com/products/viper-steel-ddr4-performance-memory-ram-viper-gaming-by-patriot-memory
  18. Perhaps my RAM is simply not supported at those speeds?
  19. Yup. I do all that, click save changes and exit, then the pc proceeds to turn off then on for about 2 seconds and repeats this cycle about 3 times, then boots into windows normally and when I go back into the bios every single setting is at default. With the deault ram settings at 2133mhz everything works as normal
  20. Unfortunatly nothing has worked :(. Even using the ryzen dram calculator and inputing every setting manually didn't work.
  21. I currently have a 3600x, Asrock B450 steel Legend and 16gb of Patriot Viper 3600mhz ram but I am having trouble getting the RAM speeds to stay above 2133mhz. The pc works totally fine as it is but I would like to get higher ram speeds. The problem is everytime I change any ram setting such as enabling the xmp profile or manually changing the volatage and speed, the PC will boot loop and reset the entire motherboard the next time I shutdown / reset and startup again. I have very limited knowledge when it comes to ram overclocking so if anyone knows what the score is then i'd love some help :)
  22. UPDATE Wasn't the cmos battery. It was my RAM settings. I guess this motherboard doesn't support the RAM speeds I set very well. Boot time is a lot faster and actually sticks now.
  23. I think taking the battery out and putting it back in might have done the trick gents. Thank you very much. Hopefully it stays like this and I can keep my settings.
