  1. I have also noticed a peculiar behaviour, when plugged in, my CPU does not exceed 400 MHz, but immediately upon unplugged it regularly spikes to 3900MHz, while averaging around 1000-1500 MHz. How do I fix this? And yes, I have made sure that maximum processor state when plugged in is set to 100%
  2. When plugged in, all toggles are at whatever the highest available parameter seems to be. I also notice that the laptop does not have these performance issues when it's charged to 100% and then used while it is still plugged in.
  3. Yeah, I tried it, didn't fix the problem. Thanks for trying though.
  4. In HWInfo64, the CPU doesn't seem to be throttling. it's a bit under 60 deg C. I'm curious what happens with the reset, will it change any of my bios settings or clear my storage? Do I need to be aware of anything that happens? How will it fix my issue. I may sound sceptical but I'm scared to lose any data. Thank You.
  5. I have an old Acer laptop which runs chrome decently well /s. However, if I plug it in, it slows down and becomes less snappy when charging. I have noticed the outside of the power brick is cracked, could this be the reason?
  6. I have tried everything on the internet and it won't come off, already lost a nail to it, wouldn't try that again...
  7. How do I delete Linux without deleting my data on another partition on the same drive(disk management doesn't recognize any partition on the drive its blank)
  8. So I installed Pop!_OS on a partition on my secondary hdd which also has another partition where I store my data. Windows Explorer let's me navigate through this D: (data) drive but the disk doesn't show any partitions in disk management. The disk is in dynamic and doesn't let me change it to basic or mbr.
  9. Yeah that's the first thing I did, they are .cmd, .txt, step info files and stuff
  10. I have been using Windows 11 Insider for 3 Months now and I never faced major problems, until now. I reinstalled Windows 11, this time with the release build. Having never installed drivers before, (I've only used the manufacturer USB recovery drive yet to reinstall Windows) I downloaded the files to find out that they are .zip files and not .exe. Now I do not know how to install them since device manager just shows this with no description of the device for me to know exactly which device it is. Most of it seems to be working fine just fine but Bluetooth doesn't seem to be working since troubleshooter says my device is incompatible, which is false as I have been using BT Headsets.
  11. I recently disassembled my laptop(Acer Aspire 5 A515-52-30HV) and after that few keys on the right side in particular aren't working, even though I only removed the backplate and not anything else.
  12. I have these JBL Tune 500 BT which work fine on all devices other than my laptop. They appear on screen, but after I click on it, this appears; HELP! EDIT: The error seems to be resolved!
