I am building my first cooling system (in my first computer build) and have a question about choosing coolant and dye manufacturers. If you go to the different companies' web sites, they all tell you to use their own additives to ensure compatibility with their hardware. The reasons given talk about stripping color from fittings, congestion in water blocks, staining of tubing, etc.
My system will have EKWB radiators, Bitspower fittings, Monsoon reservoirs, Bitspower CPU and GPU blocks, a Lowara D5 pump, and 14mm rigid tubing. As you can see, it is going to be difficult to dedicate myself to ONE company's additives. I want to make 'gold' color, so Bitspower dyes are out as they do not seem to offer yellow. I was thinking of going with EKWB as they have a good kit and the best ratings.
Any thoughts?!?
