So I originally got a 3060 ti which I would randomly get low fps for example sometimes I would get over 200 fps in rocket league other times only managing 40fps. Lowering graphics has done nothing to increase it. I also get crashes in games with the nvlddmkm stopped responding error in event viewer I don't know if that is tied together with the other issue some how. so I sent it back thinking it was faulty then I got a good deal from a close friend for his 3080 and I am having the same issues. For reference I have a ryzen 7 5700x 16gb of ram 2x8 running in dual channel at 3000mhz I was unable to post running at 3200mhz which it is rated for. I had a 1000w evga power supply thinking it could have been faulty so I got a corsair 1000watt and the issue persist. Things I have tried consist of using ddu to clean install driver, clean installing to an older driver, wiping windows 11 twice now, trying with only 1 of the ram sticks. Also trying the silent bios instead of the gaming bios on the gpu and enabling debug mode in nvidia control panel. I also made sure to use 3 separate power cables. I am open to suggestions I have a 32gb 2x16 ram kit coming tomorrow and I'm hoping I can get it to run at 3600mhz cause I know ryzen likes ram speed. If that doesn't get rid of it I might try a new motherboard because maybe it's the pci-e slot. I have just been going nuts practically building a whole new computer around this graphics card. My friend had no issues with it and the main differences between our pcs are that he is still on windows 10 so maybe it's a windows issue but he also had 32gb of ram and an i9.
