  2. Nope no power what so ever i just tried a WD UBS 3 Portable drive and nothing
  3. Its not a matter of speed its a matter of i want to use the ports with out having to use a splitter or something running 4 ports with all my audio gear and stuff is really annoying.
  4. So i picked up a 1TB SSD from Samsung the other day and did a complete reinstall of my OS which is Win 7 Ultimate i installed windows did all my drivers like normal no problems there I started to plug in all my gear Keyboard Mouse External Dack all that and none of my USB 3.0 Ports are working ive downloaded every driver for it i even tried the disc that comes with the MOBO that i never use and nothing, The USB 3.0 port is fine no bent pins tested with multimeter its getting enough current cable is fine no damaged ports or connectors i cannot get any of the 3.0 ports to work the UBS 2.0 works just fine but thers only a few of them on this board. Nothing has changed since my last upgrade which was new GPU's Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated Thx System Specs CPU Intel 3770K MOBO ASUS Maximus V Formula AC3 Edition (not that it any different) GPU 2X EVGA GTX 770 Ram 16GB Corsair Dominator Platnuim SSD Samsung 1TB Evo HDD 3 Seagate 4TB 3.5 Drives PSU Corsair 1200i

  6. Hi im trying to set up a studio quality mic and recording interfaceim trying to start up the pro tools software from my new AVID Fast Track Solo Recording interface and im having some major issues with it for starters ive followed every instruction step by step and i get these problems. 1# Every time i connect the Avid recording interface via the usb like it says to do it tries to install the driver like usual but then Blue Screens my pc i read online that there was an update to fix that so i updated and still happens anyone have a solution to that! 2# When i try to open pro tools it comes up with this error code (Could not complete your request because Assertion in "..\.\Sys\win32\sys_filelowWin32.cpp" . line 633.) No idea whats going wrong ive uninstalled and re installed 5 times and still the same problem at my wits end with this thing!
  7. Ive made a custom bay rez out of aluminium and ive brushed it to almost the same as teh front pannel althought ive only had pictures to work off and linus's video im pretty certain it will look great its all welded together and ive pressure tested it up to 1.8 bar which is far more than the failure point of my radiators so it should look fantastic and be very functional!
  8. Oh ok i had it the other way around in my head but ill do it that way and make the tubing look nice and clean! thx for that
  9. So ive been planning my build for a few months now and ive finally settled on a case and componants ill be using the 900d for the shear size of it and how much i can fit in it but ive had an idea to put 2 reservoirs in my one loop just for aesthetics! ive done a fair bit of reserch and come up with the plan of having one bay type res and another tube rez inside the case! im just concerned with flow rates because ill be using a mcp655 variable speed pump should i have the speed set to low so that pressure isnt an issue or would it be perfectly fine on the usual meduim setting im also puttiing a flow meter in thats controlled by my fan controller so that i can monitor it ive also thought i probably shouldnt use hard tubing as ive herd horrorible problems occour when under heavy pressure loads ive calculated by the time ive gotten all the air out the loop should consist of about 2.5L of coolant which is more than ive ever put in a single loop before so i think soft tubing 1/2 ID 3/4 OD should be the go this is a rought estimate of the loop order (Start: Pump-(480mm RAD-480mm RAD)(these are in the basement of the case)-GPU1-GPU2-CPU-RAM-(360mm RAD)(Top of the case)-Bay Rez-Flow Meter-Tube Rez-Back to Pump) If you have any advice i would be greatfull or if youve got a 2 rez loop could you post some pictures so that i can have a look Cheerz!
  10. Turns out its some what a defective card it works perfectly fine over 2 screens but Nvidia think it may be a problem with the card to run in surround so to make the choice of running another one in SLI or RMA it for at least a month.... Bummer.
  11. Im trying to run Nvidia Surround on one card which ive seen it done before but i cannot get the Nvidia Control Panel to allow surround configuration no matter what i do ive tried using the same configuration i had on my 680 before with the active Display port to DVI adapter ive tried Both DVI and a Display port to the monitors ive tried Both DVI and a HDMI to the monitors ive tried everything i can think of. It only shows 2 monitors but not a third the monitors are brand new all working fine i just cannot figure out why it wont detect the third monitor or allow it to be configured in surround Please HELP!!
  12. My EVGA GTX 770 2GB card arrived today only bought the one as ive already bought a couple of 780's for my rig bought this one for something else later but i threw it in my old gaming rig and god does the finish look good its the EVGA cooler style not the ACX design and also its a reference PCB so waterblocks should be available soon ill post up the OC results and benchmarks in a few days but they should be just the same as everyone elses.
  13. Looked at both a STH10 and a TH10 and i liked the TH10 more but the shipping alone to Australia was horrendous they were asking 300-450 just for the shipping and that was flatpacked and i would have to assemble myself which i dont have any problem with its when you buy cases that arnt pre built that you sometimes run into problems with parts not fitting etc as i have built in a few caselabs merlin cases before i know that the flatpacked ones i got 3 from 5 the HDD cages were wrong or the screw holes wernt all tapped out things like that that slow customer builds down. And for them to replace the defective parts it cost quite a bit out of my pocket. so i rather prebuilt cases for those reasons.
  14. thats awesome on the elbow personally when mine got down near the tip of my elbow it was very painfull its a beautifu design you have too
