On a serious note however, I'm legitimately expecting ill be getting a AMD CPU during my next upgrade, bear in mind I only upgrade my 'base' system components when i 'need' to. Im still rocking a 3930k. So i can easily justify paying a premium for the best performance in any given task, BUT im very very much a man of principal, I vote with my wallet and if Intel continues screwing over the consumers ill go with AMD, they competing and are not that far behind in some areas of performance, close enough to say "fk it, its worth it to give Intel the finger"

Well, you've done your part, educate whomever you can but don't force it.
Let ppl make up their own minds.

Just rent a giant warehouse and announce to the fanboys free fan gears for hardcore fans, invite them in and feed them rat poison. All fixed.

Well it's a start for AMD, my teacher told me at one time Intel pulled dirty tricks under the table with some OEM  by paying them to not buy AMD products. But that years ago. 

1060 mobile only goes to 50w (power limit at 80w) for 1080p minimum settings 120fps cap. imo even an old 750ti can get playable frame rates at 1080p, if not you can just dip to 720p or 900p

Zen uses very good solder so altering it usually makes things worse.

Ryzen is soldered already so there is no point in delidding as it can't get any better than that.

From what I understand, de lidding Zen almost never offers any improvement over how it came from the factory and in the vast majority of cases makes things worse.

Yeah well FE cards are pretty to look at but cooling wise... That's why I go zotac when it comes to Nvidia, powercolor for AMD.
