  1. Well we don't use eBay as much as other countries do here, plus the most used reselling platform(s) used here don't show sold items (or at least that i'm aware of). Well i've saw people asking for 400-450€ that's around £410 for the card i'm talking about. I don't know if pushing it down to 300-350€ (£270-£315) would be considered an underpayment for the card, since even though i want to buy the card, I don't want to "scam" in a way my friend. So I'm looking for opinions.
  2. I've been speaking with some people that I know around here and they've told me that the max I should aim for would be 350€ but the sweet spot would be 300€. The reason would be that 5 months is already a decent amount of usage. I don't know if that would be a good price to tell my friend as a base price.
  3. Which GPU would you say it's a better graph card? I'm not looking into the 30 series, i'm looking into the 20 one. (Also i'm european so you can use euros if that's better).
  4. Even if it's bought new and it only has 5 months of use? I don't think it received much use tho. Would that increase it's value?
  5. Greetings everyone I'm trying to do an upgrade related to my graphics card, but since I don't want to go for a new graph card I'm thinking about buying one from my friend with 5 months of use, but how much would it worth currently? It only has 5 months of use but it's also a nice graphics in my opinion. If anyone can give me a price that it goes or a base price would always be nice.
  6. I've saw that recently that with the Threadripper from AMD, I've got surprised with it. I don't know, I really need to see where I could potentially sell my computer or my computer parts.
  7. I sure know my computer isn't trash, even though it's slow right now and sometimes I just feel like hammering it down, it's still a good working machine but it has it's bad moments too. About RNG, it depends.. RNG isn't really used that much nowadays, aside random item givers, and anything close to it. probably random pathfinding for npcs and so on. Games nowadays tend to be more thought before being built and sent to the public (normally). Plus the way the engine works too sometimes make a difference. Optimizing a game itself can be hard due to the logic behind the scripts and funcs inside. (But that's my personal opinion)
  8. Depends the game, some games as far as I'm conserned use CPU more than GPU sometimes due to bad optimization. Anything that uses RNG, random cell generation, etc might have a bigger impact on the CPU.
  9. That's not a bad idea itself considered it, maybe would just buy a new one and sell this or use this with an elgato for streaming
  10. Well not that I'm not a fan of AMD, but I feel like there is a bigger support for Intel than AMD, I'm saying this mainly since I dev games as a game dev student, (no I'm not that much of an Hardware person myself), but I wouldn't mind buying one technically right now.
  11. Well true, I sometimes feel like just picking this whole computer, sell it and buy a new one ngl..
  12. I forgot to say i have 2x 4GB RAM sticks, installed on slot 1 and 3, they are supposed to be working in dual channel
  13. Yes it's common my RAM reaching those values when i'm gaming only with spotify, chrome, discord and the game open honestly. Also I have 2 sticks physically.
  14. well I normally don't play really expensive games upon CPU workload. I can play Rocket League just fine on my computer, but for some odd reason I can't on my desktop. Specs aren't much different from this. it has an i5-9400, GTX 1050 and also has an SSD and the main drive, aside that it's all the same. Yes I only have an HDD here, thought about getting an SSD so loading speeds are faster same with writing ones, but unfortunately my CPU seems to be an issue too. And I've saw some oddly events where my CPU just goes up to 100%.
