Ohhh lorrddyyy!!! I can not thank you enough, thank you thank you!!!
Spent 20 minutes with GPT and Bard trying to explain what this feature does and neither could ID it.
Bard told me to call MS🤣

    Thanks again si1enze!!!!

Stable Diffusion is more so impacted by the GPU. The 9600K should be more than fine.

There will be no benefit to using a 2.1 cable, no.  It will work at the spec that both ports support which will be 1.4.

The only benefit I see is for you to be able to use that cable with newer stuff in the future. No matter what it will run at DP 1.4

More reliable at 2x16gb vs 4x8. Get yourself a 2x16 kit if you need 32gb.

si1enze got a reaction from RevGAM in Messing around with using a PC fan as car exhaust fume extractor. Fun experiment.
It would be much simpler to use some rubber exhaust hose like mechanics do to direct the exhaust fumes outside of their work area..

Can you take a look at GPU-Z while running those tests and see under the performance tab what it says it's the limiting factor of the GPU?

Also, take a look at memory and other temperature sensors.

if anything, it would make way more sense, and be far cheaper just to put a 3 foot section of universal exhaust pipe in it while parked(at least imo). i can't see plastic lasting anywhere near long term.. also worth noting, i never get exhaust fumes in my car while idling, even with all 4 windows open(at least not noticeable amounts). are you sure you don't have a leak somewhere from the headers to the cat? or is this parked in a garage or something while idling?

si1enze reacted to Dedayog in Advice for my computer
    Is this a prebuilt?

Looks fine except for the RAM.  1x32GB is unacceptable.  2x16GB is the way to use dual channel RAM properly.

Is the thermal paste being applied?  I am reading this as a prebuilt, but thermal paste is already on the CPU Cooler, so you don't need any extra.

si1enze reacted to Eigenvektor in Can I put my old GPU in my new PC?
Yes, almost all Zen 4 CPUs have a (very weak) iGPU. The 7700x does have one, review: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-7-7700x/22.html

Using the old GPU should be no issue. It'll work in any system that has a PCIe slot, i.e. everything released in the past decade(?) or more. Using a system without any type of GPU is generally not possible, outside of some specific headless Linux installs.

@OutragedMetro I would try re-pasting/mounting it to the CPU before anything else since it sounds like the AIO is working.

This is a significantly better system if you can afford the extra $50. The cooler is significantly better, the motherboard actually allows for some CPU overclocking, the RAM is much faster, and the GPU wipes the floor with the 4060 Ti and 3070. Plus it's actually got enough VRAM for modern AAA titles.

Hue is FREE right now on Steam. 94% Very Positive reviews.

Free to keep when you get it before Jun 8 @ 1:00pm.

For those that remember, Hue was given out for free on Epic Games nearly 3 years ago.

Hue is a 2016 puzzle platformer published by Curve Games, formerly known as Curve Digital. They changed the name in October 2021 as part of their commitment to better support developers. A few years ago Hue was also ported to iOS and Android but oddly enough they have different listed developers and a different name as the title and it's free on iOS but $4.99 on Android. Weird.

Yup! that will be it -
apparently my mistake is that i connected it to the wrong slot (x2 instead of x4), It’s not so clear in the mobo manual.. but after looking on GIGABYTE site I understand my graphics card hides that x4 slot.

I’ll fix this tomorrow and report, thanks!!
