  1. Hey, hope you can help again. I left it a few hours after fiddling with basic power... tldr didn't work but something new happened. It did its little crash/reboot but then the monitor turns rainbow until i reboot (rainbow screen of death????) Any insight on that? Remember this pc is very new in the last 6 months. Appreciate it!
  2. I'm getting a kernel power 41 issue in event viewer. The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. and 2x 16 GB ram unfortunately don't know the brand off top of head. also unsure of voltage
  3. no blue screen no freeze, just straight crash. It always reboots though, you don't have to hit power button, it restarts.
  4. very normal. room is well cooled, there are like 4 fans inside the case, I can play overwatch or other games on high for hours and it's fine, but then just every now and then just crashes
  5. Just ran windows memory configuration and didn't see anything cray pop up...
  6. Hey all. Using my girlfriends new PC and lately it's been crashing pretty randomly with almost 0 stress, playing fall guys and halo remastered. It can not happen for 3 days and then happen 3 times in 15 minutes. AMD Ryzen 9 CPU AMD RX Radeon 5700XT Samsung 500gb SSD 2x 27 Inch Steelseries curved gaming monitor EVGA GOLD 850W PSU (BRAND NEW... we thought maybe it was her old PSU) I'm at kinda a loss for words, would appreciate any insight or tips to check. We also tried different power bars as well.
  7. hey friends, request locked, had my pc to power saver pretty sure that was about 98% of the issue, did some other small miscellaneous cleanup and that helped huge too
  8. but thanks for agreeing that it doesn't sound right
  9. I do not do much with my pc I'm a filthy casual, when I do have overwatch playing it will say power usage is very high, as well as my chrome browser sometime. But normally when I have games launched, I have only discord and MAYBE chrome running in the background
  10. I do not play in 4k don't have a 4k monitor, I do 1920x1080 and play all my games on low settings even if they could be played high, I always go low for max fps
  11. Hey guys! Was recommended to post here by a friend who also posts here. I've been having some issues and more or less questions about my setup and what might be wrong with it. I don't have some kind of BEAST $4,000 gaming PC, but I have a PC that I would think should be above average for most games I play, since I don't play the ultra games on the highest settings. This is the gist of my setup: Ryzen 5 2600 16GB Ram NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 8GB VRAM 500 GB Samsung evo SSD + 2TB HDD (all games are on ssd) LG 27MK400H (probably the cheapest monitor I could have gotten at the time) Samsung 27 Inch monitor (my side monitor not my gaming monitor) PSU is evga 650 bronze I believe, could be 600 bronze I forget. and I feel i'm getting below average fps for my setup, I play a lot of overwatch where I only get anywhere from 65-95 FPS with all low settings and fps cap 300. All my friends in csgo load faster then I do, the only game where I don't mind lagging is in rust, where I'm still getting 25-45 fps on all low settings in rust. If anyone has any help or insight into maybe what I could be doing to have better gameplay I'd love any help! Thanks in advance everybody
