I have gotten to a point I am never nervous about posting a comment, but posting a thread.. Jeez, that still scares me a bit. I read over it a million times and if at all possible I sleep over it for a night. It's just that I feel like with a post only a couple people will see it, but with a topic.. You are actively seeking out answers from 80+ people on here, all ready to tear your thread apart and nitpick every last detail.

Also ready to post the first page of Google results, which often are not helpful replies (because obviously I Googled this before asking here..)

Doesn't even matter if it's an 'asking for help' or 'providing help' topic, I get anxious about it either way.

So uhhh, I am sitting on a draft currently of a topic where I ask for some help/guidance. Thinking about a good time slot to post your questions is a task for myself too, which I am all too often not sure about.

    There's a reason why I have 5000+ posts but only 38 threads.

Apparently I have made 162 threads, but that includes all my cringy old threads.

That means 0.84% of my posts are threads (at least the OP). For you that is 0.65%.

Sadly I can't seem to find a list of the amount of topics made on this site (and I'm not about to handcount that by hand..) so I can't confirm if the average users makes more of less threads by percentage.

If I had to guess.. I think most people have between 1 and 5% post to thread ratio.

Reason I say this, is because a couple years ago I did count some things and saw the average post count of the users here is 20 posts (which is excluding Off-topic, which would make it 23 posts per user).

The average user here is someone who makes 1 thread asking about something and then goes away or is just here for a giveaway. So that's why I did have to make a range on that..
