  1. Hey! For fun i decided to move my Gigabyte 3070ti into my spare Evolv Shift 2 Air Case to see if i would get better temps on it. For Reference - My current PC build is a Ryzen 3700x - 32GB 3200 Ram and the case i am using is a MSI Sekira 500x which i know famously to be a hot box - I also have my 3070 ti undervolted to 975mV with a boost clock of 1980MHz. When i play FFXIV on Max Settings 120fps, my temps in my current case sit around 62/64c. When i switched to the Evolv Shift case for reference i did have a worse CPU than what i currently using already in it *2400g* - Main use was just for media purposes. When i switched GPU, applied the undervolt and loaded up FFXIV, the temp shot up to 85c, which really threw me off as i don't even see that kind of temp in the Sekira 500x, the only guess i could make was that because the 3070ti i have vents hot air from the backplate and not out the vents where the HDMI/DP ports are, that maybe it's choking itself as how the GPU is mounted in there, it is almost up against the PSU with about an inch of clearance. So my question to all you guys is, what do you think could have caused this issue to happen? Is the Evolv Shift 2 Air just not suited for 30 series *or my 30 series* GPU's? Or was there something else going on here? Thank you all, Joe
  2. Looking like a airflow issue, I did worry about the case as it has quite small intake slots on the side but i thought it might be enough, thanks for the help!
  3. Good to know, now i just have to find out how to reduce it, I would prefer to have it lower if possible.
  4. Hey all, Main question i wanted to ask was what is considered a too high of a temp for my GPU at load - Currently using a Zotac RTX 2080 Super AMP, I've seen it go as high as 87/88c during games like Final Fantasy XV on high/Ultra Settings. So i was wondering what i can do to reduce the temp if it is indeed too high for prolonged usage? Thank you.
