No peripherals needed
Upgrading from a Lenovo T430 laptop, the base model, super slow it takes almost two hours to render a 15 minute 1080p30fps video in Premiere
Going to buy in one week
1080p at 60hz, however won't be playing anything, just editing, that's just the refresh rate of the monitors we have at home.
I made this list for my dad as he has a youtube channel with a couple hundred thousand subscribers and he's been editing on his bad laptop the entire time, and I'll be building the system for him. He uploads three 5 minute videos every week and one 15 minute video. Basically my main concern with the list that I want to know and get answered is if the 1030 is fine for the purposes of the build.
