  1. So I was just using my computer as usual and I heard a noise like a human breath and a sound that sounded like putting a glass/mug on table, no video was playing, I immediately closed discord and unplugged my microphone, I thought it might have come from discord and I accidentally called someone, but no, doesn't seem like so. This is the 2nd time this has happened, last time was many months ago and I just dismissed it as being a glitch or something, now I'm starting to get worried, am I hacked? What should I do? Sorry, I know this isn't your typical computer hardware or software question, but I'm genuinely worried.
  2. That could be the problem, just be careful, don't kill the cpu as voltage is sensitive, increased it too much? Cpu no more.
  3. Oh, I have 2 more amazing games, Subnautica and Subnautica Below zero. Subnautica is mostly a survivaly game, but it has a deep and cool story So does subnautica below zero, it's story is larger than previus one and has characters and is overall very good. The graphics are also lovely and gameplay is pretty cool
  4. Witcher 3, one of the best games I've ever played
  5. Though, why are you looking for a motherboard 5000 ready? I understand that you might not want to go and update something etc, but it's pretty simple, I have done it myself and it isn't hard.
  6. Yes, that motherboard works too, and yes, I am sure, it is listed on their official website, but for that cpu the second motherboard might be too bad, as that cpu is too strong, it needs good vrm cooling, the aorus should be fine as long as you won't overclock, then you should go for something better maybe. Also my bad, it will maybe need a bios update, I thought it was a different one.
  7. Strange, does this occur when you lower your resolution in game?
  8. How much fps and at what resolution are you getting? Also what's your screen hz?
  9. Yes, any B550 or X570 motherboards don't need an update, only B450 and X470's need an update.
  10. Try v-sync, unless you're playing competetive games, It helps with tearing by having it on. Also as mentioned before fps cap can help
  11. @Cool_EvloSorry, I have a really short temper, but I didn't '"scream with caps'' that was more meant to higlight. I should see my therapist at some point. my apologies for boing angry to @Brok3n But who cares? But still, my point stands that I'd recommend a better psu.
  12. While I agree with your statement, yes, the pc will work, but there are many limitations if you buy that psu. also read the first comment on that video, a guy with 600w didn't have enough power, so is it really a good option? Also why shouldn't I be talking about futureproofing? Gpu's seem to go only up and up in their power required so far.
  13. I would recommend you to buy a mid tier cpu, higher than 2nd option, maybe lower than first option, and leaving room for a gpu later down the line. Once prices drop a gpu will be easier to get, so that is my recommendation. I'd say 1st option seems better if you are fine with lower graphics and less fps for now, if you're fine with that and are willing to buy a better gpu down the line. But, if you are purely gaming and don't want to upgrade for a long time, 2nd option would be better, as a gpu is more important in most games than a cpu. It depends on your future plans mostly.
  14. @Brok3n But who cares? Ok, for the storage I missunderstood what you meant, but for the power a minimum of 750w is RECOMMENDED if paired with a high end gpu, which will aslo add future proofing to op, 650w is not enough for 3080 or 3090, maybe he can get scots free with the 650w psu, but if he wants to upgrade on future, then no, it will not be enough, also, better safe than sorry. NVIDIA itself recommended a 750w psu for latest gen cards (3080 and up) So as I said, futureproofing should be accounted. While you can get away with a lower psu, it's recommended not to get it too high, for instance it is not good when a psu has no room just in case, so more room for it to do stuff is recommended. you can go on nvidia's website if you don't believe me, and that cpu eats a lot of power too, also you didn't take in overclocking, op didn't mention this, but if he wants to overclock, he will need a better psu.
  15. @Brok3n But who cares?First of all, other parts use power too, second of all, op has listed THE FUCKING LIST OF PARTS HE WANTS TO BUY and the storage is mentioned in there, are you blind? You can even use google, for intel 11th gen i9 minimum recommended is 750w
  16. NOT THE CASE, intel 11th gen uses a lot of power, it's very power consuming and for future gpu you would need way more, even linus says so
  17. The PSU is not enough for an intel i9 and an rtx, you should get at least 750w I'd say, just in case, it will also be better for future. 850w and up would be perfect CL16 memory as mentioned is also recommended. And as first said ryzen is not faster for everything, so far intel is better for gaming ryzen overall, for workload and gaming. But for pure gaming intel is mostly better with a par cpu
  18. This list I wrote is one of the best ways to troubleshoot a pc that isn't booting up, so you can save it for later incase you need it.
  19. That's rather strange, did you try in different slots? Maybe one of them is fried. Could also be dead cpu or gpu, try running integrated graphics instead of the gpu, could work if the gpu is at fault. If without gpu problem still persists, try plugging out all drives to see if you can atleast get to bios. If that also doesn't work, there are 3 possible problems: Cpu dead Motherboard dead PSU dead In this case the part most likely will need to be replaced. One other thing to try before is to reattach EVERY cable that's related to power, cpu cable, motherboard, gpu, etc. This is a common problem as well. Also you could try reseating cpu if it nothing helped, though you will need new thermal paste.
  20. High end, rtx 3070 is literally better than last gen best gpu, that cpu is also almost high end. only ram is mid tier. For ryzen better would be 3600 or even more for that cpu
  21. Could be faulty ram, one of the most common problem, do you have 2 sticks or one? If you have two you can try with one, and check if one of them isn't working
  22. Windows powershell cannot be deleted I'm pretty sure, it's like command prompt (cmd) but better. It's possible that an app that is set to startup with your pc is using it hence it appears, you can go into task manager to startup section and see what is starting up with windows, maybe that will help. You can also disable there apps you don't want slowing down your pc on startup. Also reinstalling windows could help. As for upgrading your gpu, if you are willing to pay scalper prices, sure, though I'd recommend waiting. Your cpu can handle most cards, only rtx 3080 and 3090 will bottleneck, most cards will run fine, even rtx 2080 ti or 3070 So it's up to you what you want to. Otherwise I'm not sure what you want, let me know if you need some more info or something.
  23. Also if you really want a cooler, you can get a arctic freezer one fan or duo for 30-40 bucks, defenetly no need for a 60-80 buck cooler though, it's also really good for that price, keeps even ryzen 7 or sometimes not overclokced ryzen 9s at low temps
  24. Well if it's not during gaming, then its probably 100% fine with those spikes, it seems like it's a common ryzen problem which doesnt matter much
