  1. Well the problem the ISP I'm with right now control all the internet servers. Other ISPes are just partnered with them. So that means my problem will not be solved by switching to another ISP right? I tried to play using my phone network but the problem 4G signals are so bad in my area. I guess I just gotta give up on trying to find a solution. It's just not meant to be but anyway I really do appreciate your support and taking the time to comment. Thank you so much
  2. No. It just randomly happened. I just recently got a vdsl router thinking it might fix the problem but it didn't. But no the issue happened randomly with no any hardware or network upgrades or changes.
  3. Well I just recently bought this device. The device I had from my ISP is an adsl one and I had it while the problem existed for over a year. Yea probably wireless access point in bridge mode yes i do have two cables that i tested them. also there was like a very small cable came with the router that i got a laptop connected to and tried to play with it. nothing really changed. also tried to play on wifi instead of ethernet. it was the same problem.
  4. 1. the whole game freezes for like 10-30 seconds and then continue normally. usually it says Down. packet loss 32% and then goes 50% and then 62% and then 80% then comes down to 0 immediately and i can play again. like always the same thing. 2. well i have one vdsl router TP-link TD w9960 in the middle of the house. and i have 1 cable (Cat 5) connected from it to my computer. i have another tp-link switch connected via wireless to the router for my security cameras only. my internet is very stable. i don't have any problems at all watching videos in high quality or browsing or even downloading. 3. yes i made sure no one is going online. also disconnected the switch and it did absolutely no difference at all. no one was in home with me when i did the test and i did it soooo many times over the year. i'll try glasswire and tell you how it went for me once i get a chance to play video games.
  5. yes my computer is connected directly via Ethernet cable to the router. i tested playing games without the cable on wifi to see if the cable is the cause, and i also tested on another cable. it's still the same. issue. and i also tested it on two laptops with and without Ethernet. it happens immediately once i join a game. i get like a packet loss up to 80% and then immediately goes down. and again every 2 to 5 minutes
  6. Yes I do have a network switch for my security cameras. But only one and it is connected via wireless. I tried to shut it down just to test and I still had the same problem
  7. so i had a problem that only occurs while playing video games, any game like cs:go, battlefield and fortnite and whatever. i just get download packet loss up to 80%. it's such a weird problem because when i run a ping test for google in cmd it shows no packet loss at all. my internet is so stable and really good so far. i have a vdsl2 connection and datapath = fast. Also I do use ether et. i ran many tests on [dslreports.com](https://dslreports.com) and always had grade A bufferbloat.i'm sorry if i'm just saying unnecessary information about my problem but i'm not really that good with network stuff. does anyone know a possible fix for this? any idea why this happens. by the way it's not a computer related problem because i tried to play different games from 3 different computers on the same network and i still get packet loss every 2 - 3 minutes. p.s my ISP says my network is fine and they don't support problems related to video games so i'm basically F\*\*\*ed
