  1. Everywhere, when i searched what pad i should use people where talking about it and that it's bad and it could hurt temps and performence
  2. Hello, I just got my second hand GTX 1080 and in tests like Heaven benchmark and Furmark it gets close to 90 degrees. I also tested it in Dota 2 and there it stays around 70 degrees. I think it's a good idea to change the thermal paste but why not change the pads ass well. The problem is i couldn't find anywhere what pads I need. So what thickness should they be and is there something more to it that i should know? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hello, im getting a new (used) pc with the Zalman ZM-T3, but It looks like it doesn't have the best air flow. Should i be worried about that and my temps? The pc has Ryzen 5 1600x and MSI 1080.
  4. Hello, I'm buying a second hand computer with: VIDEOCARD: MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GAMING X GTX1080 8GB CPU: AMD 5 1600X 3.6Ghz DDRAM: 2x8192MB GOODRAM 2400MHz HDD: SEAGATE 1T 7200 SSD: SAMSUNG 250GB 850 EV MAINBOARD: ASROCK A320M-DSG POWER SUPPLY: ZALMAN 600W CASE: ZALMAN ZM-T3 I'm wondering if the cpu will bottleneck the gpu. I will mainly play on 1080p as thats my monitor's resolution but i may try using DSR and play on 2k or 4k if the game runs well.
  5. How can i check what width it is? Do i need to open it up and masure them? And it looks like there are different kinds is something like this ok OEM Thermal pad TC550 - 15x15x1mm 5.5 W-mK ?
  6. Yes it works fine. Overheating is the only problem but i thought it's normal for 5 year old paste to cause this ?
  7. I have. And they are almost 100% when its on auto anyways when it gets to this high temperature.
  8. You can see them in the video but the card looked quite new so he didn't have to change them.
  9. Hello, I have a proble with my MSI R9 380 graphics card overheating. Over load it goes up to 100 degrees like for example playing a game or something. I'm planning on changing the termal paste becouse it's about 5 year old card after all and I don't think there will be much left of the old one. I read that old paste can cause alot of problems with overheating, but I'm not sure if I should also change the termal pads. They are old and probably don't do much work but I'm not sure how important they are and if it's necessary to also change them. If they are not that important should i just remove them becouse i read that it's better without that with old ones. If they are important and i should change them how can i find exactly what i need. They come in different sizes and thickness and I don't know what to get. ps. I recently got a new case so im sure it's gpu problem and it's not overheating cause of bad case, airflow or something. Thank you in advance. If you have any questions feel free to ask. (Sorry for my english)
  10. I've had this problem for 1-2 weeks now and it's getting really annoying. When I play a game it starts to lag a lot, my ping goes up and then it completely stops. My router shows that i have internet and i do on my other devices while i have this problem on my computer. I runned the Speedtest by Ookla on my phone and it shows normal speed of 60-70 mbps download and 10 upload but on the pc it wont even start. Usually after 30 min to and hour it fixes itself. I have my suspicion that it might be the internet cable but i dont have other one to change it and confirm my suspision. Please leave any questions and suggestions, Thank you!
  11. Hello, I have a Radeon R9 380 GAMING 2G and recently it started to get up to 100 degrees. Its about 5 years old and the thermal paste hasn't been changed, but I'm not sure if this is the cause because I didn't have any problems till now. It happens only when i play a heavy game (for this gpu at least) like Apex Legends and the card stays at 100% usage, but i played this game last year and i had no problems. How can I figure out why is it heating up so much recently and how can i prevent that?
