  1. SPECS: CPU: Rysen 9 5950x MOBO: Asus ROG Dark Hero Cooler: Corsair H150i elite capellix RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb (2x16) cl16 3200 GPU: RTX 3090 Founders Edition Storage: Corsair Force Series Gen.4 PCIe MP600 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD Storage: Western Digital Black Series 2tb hard drive Power Supply: Corsair RM850x Case: Corsair 5000x Current Computer Problem: So yesterday I was messing around in unity and I left my computer to take around an hour break when I came back I noticed my computer restarted and was showing the boot up screen with the message “Preparing Automatic Repair” it would keep this screen for around 10 seconds and then reboot the computer and again and show the screen then reboot and so on. After googling the issue I found some solutions to test, but none of them worked. I attempted to get to the screen where I could get to advanced settings for windows to troubleshoot and then repair windows but it would never let me get to it, the computer would just reboot then restart the entire loop I described. I then tried to boot to a usb with windows to attempt to repair there but it wouldn’t allow the usb to boot. The computer would start booting then reboot, only a few times I got a flash of purple screen like the purple when setting windows up. I tried multiple things to get the usb to boot, disabling secure boot, enabling legacy boot, removing the options to boot to anything but the usb, and various other small tests, none seemed to fix the problem. I also tried reseating the ram, trying one stick rather then two, and trying a different gpu in the system. Nothing I have done has made any effect and I’m already past my ability to figure it out myself. I’ve become desperate and would appreciate any help at all. Thank you in advance.
  2. The hard drive is actually 3.5" I just mustve typed it in wrong. Also the case is still not set in stone. I've changed it a few times. Thanks for your help.
  3. Hello, so I posted about a new build sometime this summer but I've held off to wait for new parts and to have my budget for the build to be finalized. This will be a higher end pc that I need to use for my architecture programs for school as well as game very well. The programs I will be running for architecture is the adobe suite, revit, rhino, 3ds max, indesign, lumion, sketchup, enscape, and for gaming obviously the steam library, and epic library. I school work will come first so im more worried about it being able to run those programs well. I know a little bit about what parts are good I just couldn't explain how. My question would be can a high end gaming pc run all those programs well and with the new gpu specifically the 3080 is there any new requirements to get the best out of that card, like will I need a different motherboard or any other part? Also I have been tinkering with parts recently and I will list them below for suggestions and or changes, Thanks for all the help in advance! CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950x CPU COOLER: Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB (4x16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive Storage: Corsair MP600 Force Series Gen4 1TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD Video Card: NVIDIA RTX 3080 Case: Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair HX1000i High-Performance ATX Power Supply 80 Plus Platinum certified 1000w
  4. Budget (including currency): $3000 willing to spend more though but if possible keep it under $5000. I know these are two giant numbers but Im not sure price ranges to get what I want and if I have to spend closer to $5000 I most likely will. Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Primary needs are for my programs for architecture. I am currently a student so I will need it to be able to run rhino, revit, indesign, lumion, enscape, adobe sweet, and 3ds max.. I would love to have no problems rendering my projects. Also I would love for it to be able to play pretty much every game with little to no problems, but being able to run my school programs and render well are 1st priority. Other details: Hello! I am currently a student majoring in architecture and this upcoming school year I am required to purchase a workstation class computer for it. I know some about computer building and parts but I dont feel confident enough in making sure I can get a PC that will hopefully last me the next 5 plus years. One thing I really want this computer to do is also play video games. I was wondering if you can get a workstation class PC that will also have no trouble playing video games. I feel if Im gonna spend a large amount on a custom work station pc I will be willing to spend the extra cash to be able to play games on it too. So are their any specifics you recommend to get a work station PC that can play video games along with running programs such as rhino, autcad, revit, luminous etc. I know this may seem broad but any tips would help! Thank you! Also, ive considered looking into origin pc to do a custom pc there so I wouldn't stress out over building such a high end PC and I would like the support in case I have a part failure or any problems that I need fixed ASAP due to my project deadlines. Is this wise or just a waste of money? Thanks!
