  1. I recently bought a 1660s and wanted to test it so I did a memory test in OCCT and it used 5.4gb of the 6gb vram. I thought it's a limit in OCCT so I tried a benchmark at 8k which requires 6.2gb of vram but even then the usage never went over 5.5gb. Is there a problem or is this normal?
  2. I was planning to upgrade my PC for 500$, but someone told me that now is the worst time to do so and that I should wait a couple of months and do it then. Is this true, and if so, why? This is the upgrade I was planning: (Any feedback about the upgrade is welcome too) PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor $144.52 @ Amazon Motherboard ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $103.00 @ Amazon Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card $229.99 @ Best Buy Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $477.51 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-06-24 05:04 EDT-0400

  5. I am building a pc and have come across "Gainward GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ghost OC", which is 50$ cheaper than other 1660ti cards where I live. I have never heard of this brand so I am asking you: should I buy this card or spend more for a different brand? Will it have lesser performance than more expensive cards with the same gpu? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hey, hope you are doing well and safe! With the current specs you have, how is the gaming performance and what games do you play?

Hello! I wish the same to you. GTA V runs at about 60fps on medium, cs go at 115, warzone at 40, fifa 19 at 40-50ish. The performance is ok, but I would like to improve it since i have the budget.

Warzone at 40? what settings and resolution?

  7. What brands can I trust to actually have the advertised power?
  8. Does this mean that even my current rig is being slowed down by the PSU?
  9. Sorry for the blurry image, hope you can read it.
  10. My PSU is 550W and it came with my RHINO PC case. Is it enough?
  11. Thanks, I was thinking very similarly. If I were to upgrade the CPU mobo combo and GPU a few months apart and add 50$ to the budget, what upgrade should I do first?
