  1. Is there anyway to check on the health of just my CPU? I will do the above but honestly I am a lot more concerned about the 3950x than I am with the memory.
  2. I have tried the above and I am still getting the same result. Could the memory kit be the problem? Honestly the performance is deteriorating even more now.
  3. Thank you. I will give it a go this weekend. its working (for now) at some capacity and I need to work on some projects for work haha.
  4. scratch that, tried to run it again and it crashed.
  5. pushed it to 1.35 and got nothing, crashed right away. went all the way up to 1.4 but temps are hitting really high 80's and peaking at 92. it made it through a run and i got 9718 score which is close to (about 200 points more) what i used to get without the overclock. its kind of sketchy to run it that hot is it not? My temps never hit that high before.
  6. I have noticed that my machine has been running very sluggish in recent weeks and noticed in that in the BIOS my xmp profile for 3600 keep disappearing and I have to reset it. Then today it wouldn't restart and i had a "15" post code so I reseeded my RAM but I still couldn't get my XMP to stick. I then played around by mixing and matching the sticks in different dims slots, reseeded the 3950X and eventually i got it to both boot and keep the ram at 3600. I then ran cinebench and noticed my score was 1000 points less than I normally get. Restarted and saw the XMP went away again. Eventually i got it to stick again and ran cinebench and again i had the low score. So i ran my standard 4.3 ghz 1.3 v overclock that runs totally stable normally while edit or run cinebench (i would get scored 500-600 more than normal, but i normally dont keep it there) and now it crashes the machine when i run it. I have no idea whats going on so any help here would be very much appreciated. 3950x Noctua NHU 12A X570 Taichi 4x16 gskill ripjaws v red 3600 MSI Ventus OC RTX 2060 super
  7. stock - high 40's at idle, high 60's/low 70's at load oc - high 70's and very rarely hits 82 c
  8. Nope i run it veeeeeeery rarely. it is kept at stock more often than not because i use the machine for work. Only time i ever overclock is during large exports, some gaming and when I want to run some benchmarks to see how the machine is doing. I make it a point to reset it to stock.
