Greetings LTT Forum! I have a problem with my monitor. For several weeks now, my monitor starts displaying grey lines on darker backgrounds. They also flicker a little bit and it get's more intense, when I play a game. I own the monitor since october 2020 and the issue came out of nowhere in the middle of november 2021. When I change the refresh rate of my monitor the issue sometimes disappears temporarily, but returns after some minutes. What I already tried: new DP cable old GPU used other computer switched to a HDMI cable old monitor on the 3080 (where I don't have this issue) reinstallation of the graphics driver reset the monitor to factory settings Specs: Intel Core i7 10700k NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 32Gigs of Ram Monitor: Asus ROG Swift PG43UQ I'm trying to avoid to RMA the monitor, as it takes several weeks. This is the last thing I want to do, as I hope it's something easier. I attached an image taken with my phone of the issue. Thanks in advance and excuse my english. I'm from Germany

Update: I managed to install the Wi Fi Drivers and can now use the included Wi-Fi antenna. I‘ll let Windows do it‘s magic with updates and hope it will work. Sadly even with internet connection, the device manager was unable to find the correct drivers for the Ethernet controller. But I will wait and see what happens. Thanks for all your help!

Thanks for the answer! I just updated the bios. After that, windows would not boot. With a little try and error I got windows running again, but the problem remains. Drivers cannot be installed and Windows has no own drivers to install, so that I could get the system to run properly. No Internet, no audio, nothing... I will update the Windows version in my bootable USB stick and hope it will work then. Thank you for your help. I will give an update

Hi there from Germany! My brandnew Asus Strix Z490-E (With the Core i7 10700k) just arrived today. I built the computer as always, plugged everything in and installed windows. No problem so far. But when I started to install drivers from the DVD that was included, nothing worked. The install program by Asus could only install the chipset drivers. The rest could not be installed. So i downloaded the other drivers on my laptop and tried that - failure. Tried to install network drivers from Intels website. „No intel device detected“ Tried to install them through the device manager - no compatible driver Tried the Audio driver: Wrong OS no driver, except for the Chipset driver worked. I never ran into such issues in my whole life. Any suggestions or a broken board? Thanks for any answer! My english is far from perfect! Good night from Germany!
