I really like this idea, would love to support you but I got no spare cash because i'm saving for an actual PC. But i guess the most i can do is give my input and feedback to help you develop your idea. I would really like to see progress updates and prototypes (sorry if i'm asking for too much), I'm really passionate about tech and I love this kind of stuff. I will do my best to support you and your project

about 1200 USD or approx 7850 Yuan, you will want (assuming you can find them) : 
a Ryzen 5 3600
a 3060 Ti
a B550 board
16Gb (2x8) of 3200Mhz CL16 RAM
and a 750w PSU at least from a reputable brand
 
You will also need a good case, an SSD and a HDD
 
Edit: you can cut corners by maybe getting a mATX board and a bit less storage

RTX 2060, 2060S, 2070, 2070S, 2080, 2080S, 2080Ti, which GPU is it?
Being one of those single-fan "ITX" cards I'd imagine it runs pretty hot and/or loud, though that's kind of beside the point I guess.
 
Also, since you've already purchased it, didn't you run some benchmarks to compare performance with your old Vega 64..?

that's a bad deal imo, 3080 costs 700$ so why would I buy a used, discontinued card when I can buy a newer, better one for the same price

Oh right, my bad, I forgot you had an intel CPU, you will have to stay on Coffee lake if you want to keep your board. So maybe a 9900K ? With 10th gen releasing 9th gen should have dropped in price.
 
EDIT: Just checked the 9900K costs 400 bucks on newegg, the 10700K costs the same too, but because the 10900K costs 900 dollars you could get the 10700k and use the extra budget for a Z490 board. Again i'm sorry for the misunderstanding at first

Can't say you're wrong, bought a 5600XT about a month or 2 ago. But at least I live in Egypt where hardware takes ages to release even after launch and when it does, it's overpriced as hell (2080Ti costs 25k EGP which is 1500 USD, that's 300 dollars more than the 2080Ti launch price )

If people need some specific model to run NVLink, they'll pay the premium. If all they want is a single card, then you have to compete with the new RTX 30 series prices. Since the 3070 costs 499 I wouldn't pay more than 400 for a used 2080Ti. Sell NOW or take the hit.

As the others in this thread said, you can't know anything yet. Wait for benchmarks and decide later. If you really want a new CPU with HT go Ryzen but since desktop 4000 series CPUs are coming by the end of the year I recommend waiting a bit more.

It was about 6-7 years ago and I had installed this iGun app on my iPhone 4s (White model with glass back) so I was messing around with it and discovered the grenade option.... I yeeted the phone across the room and the glass back shattered (miraculously everything was fine. I had a decent case and a tempered glass screen protector)

ok one screw was not turning so I had to break the palm rest and the keyboard
TBH this thing is a tank as a think pad should be
it survived a ceiling falling down the back is all scratched due to this
