  1. Hey everyone, Problem solved. Looks like it was a GPU issue. Ended up replacing the RTX 2080 with an older GTX 1060 I had and it boots up just fine without a switch of the PSU. Hopefully this helps somebody else with the same issue. Appreciate all the responses! Thanks
  2. Hmm.. did your GPU fan and RGB (if any) still turn on when you had this issue? When I boot mine up the fan and lights turn on like normal, even if it's not displaying anything to the monitor.
  3. Thanks. The motherboard doesn't show any errors. The system actually boots into windows and everything. The display just stays black. If I boot it up and then unplug it from the GPU and into the iGPU it immediately shows me the booted up windows screen.
  4. The power supply is is integrated into the case. It's an NZXT H1. Gah I really hope it's not the PSU. That'd be a bummer.
  5. Hi Everyone! First post for me after watching years of LTT videos! I know there's a great community here and I just built my first gaming PC since the Pentium 4 and 7800GT were top end hardware and it was going MOSTLY well until I started encountering issues with what I THINK is my discrete GPU. Right now I'm working with: Ryzen 3400G RTX 2080 Super Asrock x570 Phantom Gaming ITX 32GB G.Skill DDR4 3600 RAM (Though it's maxed out a 3000 due to the processor. I overbought since I plan to upgrade to Zen 3). Agon AG352UCG Monitor The issue I'm having is every time I shut down or restart my computer, my display doesn't get any signal from the GPU. Where it gets a little weird is whenever I unplug the machine or disconnect it from the wall, then turn it on it works just fine. But if I shut it down and DON'T unplug it or switch off the PSU, I get the same issue. Notes that I've come up with while troubleshooting: -When I connect the display to the igpu it boots up just fine. -It doesn't matter whether I connect the 2080 via displayport, or HDMI. I get the same issue. -I made sure the BIOS had the PCIe GPU selected as default. -I uninstalled and re-installed nvidia drivers directly from their website. Only using their stable releases. -I tried unplugging the card from the PCIe and PCIe extender then re-seating it. It boots fine the first time because I shut off the PSU to do so. But after that it does the same thing. -I turned off deep sleep mode on my monitor and tried unplugging JUST the monitor to see if that helped, but it didn't. The exact GPU I have is from an HP Omen build. But I don't think that would be an issue using that GPU in a regular pc build would it? It uses the same nvidia drivers and everything so I'm not sure why it would make any difference. If anyone has an ideas or suggestions on ways to eliminate any further variables or if you've had the same problem I'm open to suggestions! Thank you in advance! --Jonathan
