Hi. My case is a H710, which comes with three front intake fans and a single exhaust fan. I used to have an NH-D15 cooling the cpu with a 120mm fan in the front to fit the ram. However, I recently got a new kit of rgb ram so I’m thinking of removing the front 120mm fan and just keeping the single fan in the middle. My question is, is there a good place where I can put that leftover 120mm? I was thinking of maybe putting it as a top exhaust on the very left of the case, above the cpu cooler, but I don’t know if that’ll affect airflow to the cooler or create any annoying humming/sound from resonance. My current storage is running low, so I've just ordered a new ssd. My motherboard is the Aorus X570 Elite, my cpu is a 3700x, and my current ssd is the 1tb Corsair MP600. Since the motherboard has a built in heatsink for m.2 slots, I originally removed the heatsink from the Corsair ssd. The new ssd I've bought is a 500gb Sabrent Rocket 4, which doesn't have an heatsink. My question is: is it okay for me to put the heatsink from the Corsair ssd onto the Sabrent? Or is there even any point to putting a heatsink there? I could move the corsair ssd to the slot without the built-in heatsink, but from what I've read, it's better to put the larger and main ssd in the first slot rather than the first second, since the first slot is connected to the cpu while the second is to the chipset (not sure if this is even right). Also, I'm a little unclear about pcie lanes. Even with the second m.2 ssd, will the GPU still run in x16?

I tried removing it but only left it out for about 2 minutes, but that didn't help. I also tried shorting the pins as it says in the manual, but that also didn't work. I'll try removing it and leaving it out for longer now.

@berberries I just realized that and plugged back in my GPU, though it still doesn't work. Unfortunately, there aren't any troubleshooting LEDs on the motherboard so I'm not sure which parts are faulty.

Hi, this is my first time building a PC. Here is my PC Part Picker list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/27x83t When I plug in power cable into the PSU and turn it on, a white light behind the heatsink of the motherboard turns on for about half a second, then turns off. After that, none of the motherboard lights or even ram lights are on, and it won't post. All the fans, including the GPU fan, the case fans, the CPU fans, and even the heatsink fan on the motherboard are still spinning without any irregularities. I'm currently not using any cable extensions, just the stock cables that came with the PSU. I've replaced all the cables with different ones and have gotten the same results, so I don't think its a power issue. I pulled out the GPU to see if it was the problem, but nothing changed. All the fans still spin with no lights on. I tried doing the Q-flash plus and update the bios, but after holding the button for 5 minutes I gave up. Some possible issues with the building process that I can think of is possibly bending the pins when putting on the cooler. I had a bit of difficulty mounting the cooler on, but I'm sure its not overtightened. Please help! I have no idea what is wrong with it right now. Thank you for any assistance.

I bought a set of cable extensions for my first build recently. I noticed today that one of the cables in the extension was pulled out. However, I was able to push it back in and it 'clicked' into place. My question is, is it still safe for me to use the cable? Will it cause a short or any problems? Or should I buy another extension? It's a PCIE 8pin power cable.

I'm not sure if this is the right subforum, but here's my problem: I have an NZXT H710 case, and a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite motherboard. The F_Panel connector of the case doesn't seem to fit with the F_Panel connector on my motherboard. I attached some images. From all the youtube videos I've seen, the F_Panel connector has all been separate connectors that group together into that large block on the motherboard. I noticed that the pins on the F_Panel connector from the case match with the upper portion of the F_Panel connector on the motherboard, should I plug it into there? Thanks for any assistance

@jonnyGURU I forgot to remove that from my list. I've already returned the cables and am planning on buying a set of cablemod cables or something similar once I figure out what PSU I will buy. Thanks:)
