  1. How feasible is doing something like having both team red and green gpus in the same build and then forcing each emulator to use the gpu it would benefit from. Is it possible at all? Am i going to run into driver issues?
  2. Assuming 2 pcs that both have the following components 7950X Cpu 4x16 gbs of ram Cooling sufficient enough to have the cpu not bottleneck A high end motherboard and an overkill power supply Which family of gpu is going to be the better all rounder in terms of emulating games An Nvidia 4090 or an RS 7900 XTX. I know that overall the 4090 is both more expensive and has more brute force compute wise but emulation tends to be more cpu heavy and i wasnt sure if having an amd card paired with an amd cpu might cause things to have better performance. Similarly, if i'm just balling out of control and have both a 4090 and an 7900 xtx in the same computer, how likely is it that i can just go and tell each emulator what gpu to use and have it work with no problems whatsoever This is a purely hypothetical question that i'm asking simply so that i know what computer components i should save towards. I intend to have an all rounder gaming pc that i would like to have the best raw emulation performance possible
  3. looking to just take it to a shop and ask them to do the replacement. Got any recommendations for reliable stores in NY?
  4. OnePlus 9 has the green line. Seems like i have to get the whole display replaced. Found this link through picklock. Is this a replacement screen or is this someone else, can someone confirm? https://www.ebay.com/itm/352094604643?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050 I want to get the display replaced so that the line is no longer there. If the link above is the wrong thing please send me a link through either amazon or eBay for a display that's fairly cheap. Thank you With regards
  5. I'm going to be upgrading my steam deck once i get it with either a 1 tb or 2 tb drive. Planning to dual boot steamOS and Windows on it. My current plan is to have 3 partitions. 1)64 gb SteamOS partition 2)64 gb Windows partiton 3)A third partition which gets all the remaining space that i would use to store all games, pictures, videos, files My reasoning for having a third partition is so that i can access all my games and files across both OS's and also so that all my game files, all my pictures, all my videos etc are in one shared partition rather than have 2 picture folders for the two OS's. Could anyone advise on whether this is an okay idea and if there are any glaring problems with the way i intend to do this
  6. Thank you so much for the reply. I guess the fact this is not a consumer sort of thing hence the high cost plus no obvious price tag does make sense when i take your info into account. Thanks for the guidance
  7. So around about 2 weeks ago, Linus made a video showing off the Asus IOT AI Accelerator Pcie Card, using 16 Edge TPUs. I thought it was a super cool product and considered buying the card with no TPUs and then buying the TPUs later. However, upon googling where i can buy the card, I only found Asus's site where there's no price listed and found Amazon and AliExpress where the card was going for over 1000 dollars. I get that this is bleeding edge(no pun intended) technology and that its not supposed to be cheap, but surely there has to be a place where the card can be bought for cheap without any of the TPU's integrated. My reason for wishing to buy the card is both as i think it is a fascinating piece of tech and because i wanted to make an attempt at running AI applications from a sort of hobby and newbie perspective. If anyone can provide a link or a means to buy the card with no integrated TPUs for what the card itself costs, then that would be much appreciated Sincerely, a fellow LTT gamer.
  8. any suggestions on where or how i would even begin to plan out what i might need?
  9. unfortunately; only USA,Canada and BC can enter. Not an international competition
  10. true; it goes for 800 dollars on ebay (one seller is doing that at least) but i live half way across the world so couldn't get it delivered to me.
  11. Tl;dr is that i want to figure out if ,given enough trial and error, a 17 year old moron with a macbook and some hopes and dreams could possibly DIY a L16 (camera/phone thingy from comapny called Light) from scratch using salvaged parts from other devices such as crappy 4K cameras and other cheap parts. I'm well aware the L16 cost 30 million in rnd to make but i'm still curious on how insane and/or 'maybe' plausible it is to DIY one. Haven't seen any posts about it elsewhere so posting here
  12. I have Bluetooth ones too but they aren’t as bass heavy as I’d like . Plus they like to not stay on my head and fall off very easily.
  13. My cat chewed through the cable making play static and I ended up cutting it off in an attempt to solder the jack back after removing the damaged parts. Had no luck soldering and ended up getting too frustrated and tired. Thanks for your help though
  14. I have a gaming headset from Havit that has three cables. A usb cable for lighting, a audio out and a microphone in. The audio cable died because of course it did and and now I can’t use it to listen to music . I tried plugging the USB port into a MacBook to try and get audio out and even tried to google for a way to convert my microphone cable to a headphone jack cable like the one that tore off. Is there ANY way that I can do it. I can’t buy another headset because reasons and I really like this havit headset and I don’t want to believe that this headset is just e waste now
