  1. 300ish€, ig it can be pushed to 400€ if it's a very good deal but again, it doesn't really have to do much. Also, I said windows machine because I don't trust my father to learn chromeOS or Linux just to use his computer.
  2. TLDR: In EU, wanting to spend as little as possible for a windows machine, would you go low end or something more but refurbished Hi! My father needs a new laptop cause the last one died on him and he's been asking me for advice. I'm not too comfortable giving advice about laptops because I know well enough that my desktop components understanding doesn't translate perfectly to laptops, so I decided to come here on the forum in the hopes that someone with more experience and/or knowledge may help. Usually I'd just look around local shops and online stores for the best deal I can get for the budget, but my father has asked me if going for something refurbished may be a good value, and honestly I don't know... The laptop doesn't really need to do much, just internet browsing and video streaming. In EU (since to my knowledge, prices are very different from US), what would you personally do? Happy new year everyone and thanks for reading!
  3. Hi, I already have an old build but since the motherboard is pretty old and supports only up to intel 7th gen I was looking to upgrade both that and the cpu(I have an MSI H110M PRO-VH with an i5-6400 2.4GHz rn). I currently have a GTX 960 4GBs but that's not the bottleneck target cause I was thinking of upgrading that down the line too, so I'd like to go for something that can let me play (even at low settings) 60 fps games even in the future without bottlenecking the gpu too much. Now, my budget is pretty low and I know that there's not much room for upgrades, but I would like to know what you would go for with 200-250$(going a bit over that is fine). Thanks for reading! Edit: In case you wanna know what ram sticks I use, they're a 4GB module and a 8GB module that can both go up to 2666MHz. all DDR4, all hyperX.
  4. Hi, I have this 4 years old system and I would really appreciate some advice to know what I should do to get more performance, especially on Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne since that's the game that I would like to run better. I'm very new and just starting to get interested in pc building so I don't know much, but I'm sure you fine folks will be able to give me great advice. Now, onto the system Motherboard: MSI H110M PRO-VH CPU: Intel Core i5 6400 @2.70 GHz RAM: Ok this is a bit tricky, I started with a 4GBs HyperX@2133 MHz and then I added (I know it's a stupid idea, but I didn't know any better when I did it) a 8GBs HyperX stick @2666 MHz. (They're both running at 2133 MHz now) I know it's not very optimal but I'd like to keep it this way cause it got pricey. GPU: 4GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 by Zotac I hope this is enough information. I know I didn't list some things but I'll add them if they're very important. The real question is: Do I really need to upgrade? If yes, then what?
