  1. Hello everyone! First post to the forum. I'm about to lose my sanity. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. The basic specs are: Ryzen 5 2600 Motherboard B 450 plus 2x8 GB 2666 MHz Ballistix PSU gigabyte 650W (if I'm not mistaken) I bought 2x8 GB 2666 MHz Hyperx to make the system 32 GB (please see notes at the end). However, my PC won't POST when I put the third module, let alone the 4th. I get 3 beeps and nothing else. Things I tested: 1 hyperx + 1 ballistix. Works fine. Different channels, different memory orders. Manually tweak all RAM timings to the slowest of the 2 models. Increase RAM voltage. Decrease frequency to 1866 Update bios (running latest, v 2006) Positive thinking A lot more At this point I'm considering it might be one of these: Ryzen 5 2600 doesn't support 4 sticks (couldn't find any reliable information on this topic) Faulty processor/memory controller (how to test, though?) Faulty motherboard Maybe PSU PLEASE!! Any insights? I'm willing to try any of the steps above again if you think it might work this time... Thank you very much for looking into it! P.S.: Before we start the discussion "you don't need 32 GB", YES, it may be true, but it may not. It would be nice to have. I'm a developer and run servers locally for testing and a lot of multi-tasking. Not uncommon to hit 13, 14 GB in use.
