ooo, ok, thank you. can you tell me which entry to see in hardware info for that. this is what i am seeing right now.

i have changed the thermal paste twice and reinstalled cooler, but the results were consistent, next thing i am going to do is changing fans to SP fans, i dont have any idea which ones are better. and then i ll try to change the paste. i just installed HWinfo andmay be HWMonitor is a little more user friendly, but i dont usually use it that much, normally i use MSI After burner for temps monitoring. i am not even sure if changing the cooler at this point is gonna make difference, i ll try to change the fans first, then thermal paste, and then may be cooler. but coming back to your answer, does that mean that HWMonitor is not showing the correct Voltage values ?

here are the specs of my pc CPU i7 7700k (not OC) MOBO : GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming (rev. 1.0) Cooling: Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID LITE 240 Ram: CORSAIR VENGEANCE® LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 PSU: Corsair RM750X. Case: thermaltake Commander C32 i am a little confused or might be wrong right now. my CPU was hitting high temps during gaming, (80C-85C) during gaming, i had a small cooler on it before, Cryorig M9i, i bought this cooler because i thought it can handle 7700k with stock clocks, but i was wrong, i even added a high RPM second fan and it did bring the temps a little down but i was still hitting 80C, so i thought about changing it to a liquid cooler and i bought cooler master liquid cooler mentioned above. it did bring the temps down, but when i stress tested the cpu through prime 95, it was still going to 90C after 15-20 minutes(with old cooler it was those temps at 5-7 minutes). but during normal gaming i never crossed 80C. i was still confused and looking at HWMonitor for answers like max power and voltage stuff and then i saw this. if you look at the voltages, they went as high as 1.304v on its own when the voltage in bios is set to 1.224v(default). i cannot understand this, is this the reason the cpu is constantly getting hotter ? do i need to set a voltage limiter some where in bios. during the prime 95 test the power went above 100W and around 103~W it started hitting 90C and i stopped the test there. the fan and pump profile for cooler are set to max at 80C. what am i missing here.

thank you, yes some one pointed me towards a converter, but its not worth it. i am going with case builtin lighting control.

i am sorry if i was not clear with my question, the case provided two separate cables to connect the fan controller to motherboard for syncing and they were the ones shown in above picture, and i cannot find either of these headers on my motherboard, but asked around and the only information i got is that i need a converter to convert 5 pin rgb header for my use, dont know if its thermeltake's mistake or gigabyte's or just my luck , but the converter is 25$ and not even available in my country, soooooo case lighting modes it is.

I bought a Thermaltake Commander C32 case, it comes with two 200mm Addressable RGB Fans. they are connected to a a fan controller and they provided two types of cables to connect the controller to mother board with below headers i have a GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming (rev. 1.0) mother board and it only has a single 5 pin Addressable RGB Header. how can i connect this controller to Motherboard, do i need to buy a converter or am i missing some thing, any help would be much appreciated. thanks
