  1. Ah...thanks for the roast, gentlemen. How do i delete this post lol
  2. Couple things I forgot: I will also need the main body to have wireless and Bluetooth capabilities, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, a power charging port along with a battery, a headphone jack, an SD card reader and 3 USB 3.0 ports with fast charging capabilities. Peripherals: Mouse and Keyboard. Why: I have a lot of time right now and want to build something both cool and useful that would allow me to avoid upgrading my computer for the foreseeable future.
  3. Budget (including currency): $2000 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: SolidWorks, Cities Skylines, Age of Empires in 4k!, Rome: Total War, Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program 2, Star Wars: Empire at War, with a million insane mods...all games on the highest of graphics settings, right? Hello, I would like to scrap my laptop and build a custom touchscreen tablet. It is a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Gaming 5577. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Intel i7-7700HQ @ 2.80 GHz Either 2 sticks of 8 GB or 1 stick of 16 GB Ram ( I haven't opened her up yet) 1 128GB SSD 1 1TB Hard Drive Intel Integrated Graphics 630 Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Webcam Ideally...I would like to buy a 17.3 inch 4K touchscreen monitor and rig it to be detachable from the main frame of the tablet. Is it possible to have wireless connection between the screen and the main body while maintaining 60 Hz? The main body would be a custom frame (made from a material of your recommendation) that can house a new motherboard, the old i7 processor, new 64 GB of ram, new 2-4 TB SSD, the old graphics card, a new webcam that pops out the side, and proper cooling for the whole thing. I know it sounds like a pipe dream, but I am willing to put in the time. Just tell me it's possible lol. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for the advice!
