  2. was working remote mid 2000's, spent A$2,400 on Asus A7G laptop. Battery not great, sits on bench in workshop, mains power is fine. Can't bring myself to throw it into landfill, any suggestions, eg replacement OS and/or cheap upgrades? TIA
