  1. I don't know if this is accurate but I thought the leaks said they would only be OEM(?????????) and I don't know if the chipset will change, requiring me to wait for a different mobo etc. Any updates?
  2. Budget (including currency): $4500 USD Country: United States of America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Blender heavy rendering, lots of chrome tabs, PPEGX (PowerPoint Extended Graphics Presentation), Light games Other details: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MC59/saved/kYMsXL, Please review my peripherals, upgrading from a 8GB RAM Intel Core i7-2670QM, I will buy probably in December, 2560x1440/165hz monitor w/ G-Sync Thanks!
  3. No, can you disable it through an admin account without the passcode?
  4. My friend (who wishes to remain anonymous in every way) asked me to help them set up screen time on their mac and unfortunately he set a passcode but forgot. They don't have an Apple ID so there is no 'Forgot Password?' button. Also, they are not an administrator so they cannot recover it through an admin account. Is there a way to disable screen time through terminal or find the passcode through the library folders? Thanks.
  5. OK. Sorry about the in person bit but I'll wait for the asus. Thanks.
  6. https://www.asus.com/Monitors/TUF-GAMING-VG27AQL1A/ Images are there; $519.99 on 'Adorama' but $479.99 on B&H Photo (preorder). It looks like the FI27Q is only FreeSync certified, and originally I had that on the PCPP list but I found a lot of reviews that said that G-Sync didn't work. I don't know if it was because they used HDMI instead of DisplayPort, but I also don't know what DP cable to get. I might get the FI27Q-P if it has real G-Sync but honestly I just want a fast, high res 27 inch monitor. I don't care about motion blur but if the screen splits into sections I won't like that. Of course I will get a 2080 Ti in the build so maybe that isn't a problem. Thanks for your feedback.
  7. Hello. I am searching for a monitor to go with my $3600 build and want some advice. The monitor I want is one with G-Sync, 27 inches, fast (6-1 ms) response times, and 2560x1440 resolution. I found 3 monitors: 1) ASUS TUF VG27AQ1LA. New release, not in pcpartpicker, but a solid(?) choice. 2) LG 27GL850. Another good option(?). 3) ViewSonic Elite XG270QG. I don't know which one to choose, I really like the look of the TUF but don't know when it will be on more reputable stores (e.g. Amazon). The Elite is seriously confusing with the similarities between models but difference in prices. The LG is fine but I don't know if I should wait for the TUF or go with another one. Thank you for your help!
  8. Is there a way to recover a mac screen time passcode without iCloud?
  9. Hello. I am making an AppleScript + automator RickRoll Application. I have an afplay file to play 'never gonna give you up' (classic rickroll song) but to keep it playing over the inverting screen and hundreds of windows opening (option+cmd+w to close them all) I use afplay /Users/████/Documents/RICKROLLD.mp3 > /dev/null 2>&1 & the > /dev/null 2>&1 & makes it IMPOSSIBLE to stop, so every time I test it I have to mute the volume otherwise face the terror of 'never gonna give you up' for the duration of the song. Is there a better way to do this?
  10. You a fan of Windows XP?,It's a great OS :D

Yes, I am. I also like the modern look of Windows 10 (Sometimes.) I also like the modern speed of Windows 10, so I want to port the look over. It looks fine, but I want to take it to Hyper-Realistic Levels ;)

  11. That's the problem; When I do this, the start menu does not have the Email and Internet Separated from the rest and the log of and shutdown buttons are not separated. In Openshell, even if you find the right skin where the icons are a darker blue then the rest of the taskbar, if you add more icons or remove icons, the dark blue doesn't update. That's why I asked if you could inject the code and modify it a little, or if there is an actual program that does this for free. Also, while the taskbar looks like XP, the title bars and borders do not. If I try the UXStyle, It will only work on file explorer and non-UWP apps. Stardock is great at this, but it is a subscription service. Is there a way to do this for free?
  12. I wonder... is there a way to take the code of the windows xp start menu theme and taskbar and windows and inject that into windows 10? I don't mean the UXStyle and Classicshell, UXStyle doesn't work on UWP apps (Like Chrome or Settings) and Openshell/Classicshell isn't accurate enough, and the change in color doesn't move around. I don't want to pay for startisback because that is also not completely accurate. StartIsBack++: XP: (These are not my images)
