  1. I mean If you could get your hands on a 2080ti for less money i suppose it would be better. There are driver issues with the 30 series. 2080 ti is definitely more reliable for now.
  2. external drives do not need to do small operations over time like your C: drive. This makes the files line up up without spaces in between them. Excel and other word documents are so small they do not impact hdd performance
  3. yes of course. from my understanding, Windows media creation tool acts like a mini operating system that is designed to extract its files and install a proper operating system. If you only have one hard drive, partition the drive and install windows on the second partition. After bios asks you which partition to boot from, select Windows 10 and delete the media creation tool partition.
  4. If the temps are good, then the Bios settings are incorrect. If not, reapply the thermal paste.
  5. The graphics card is probably broken. Maybe returning it or getting a warranty should help.
  6. your card might be overclocked. Make sure to bring it back to stock speeds.
  7. I'm trying to decrease the memory usage. Also, my igpu is Radeon graphics
  8. So I got an hp Pavillion Gaming laptop, and I have two gigabytes of ram marked as hardware reserved. I know it is for the integrated graphics, but I already have a dedicated video card. Is there any way to reduce the ram it is reserving? I think 1 gigabyte should be enough for it to run. I checked the bios and did a bios update. Still no option to change the setting System specs: Ryzen 7 3750h Gtx 1650 8 gigs of Ram
